Suros Regime. Most people think that because of it mediocre rate of fire, it's not good. But it really is, especially in PvE (Bad Juju is still my favorite.)

The Monte Carlo.

I used to see this question and answer Necrochasm. It was a fun weapon back in year 1, even though the exotic perk didn't proc like it was supposed to a lot of the time. Now, though, it's back with a VENGEANCE. The year 3 Necrochasm is awesome!

I used to think 4th Horseman was underrated before all the shotgun nerfs, now it's just junk.

Plan C. This fusion rifle is amazing when paired with something like a hawksaw type of pulse rifle.

Edited by Swiftlock: 5/25/2017 9:59:07 PMI don't think there is an "underrated" exotic. Yeah, you have some exotics that are fun to use even if they aren't optimal, but I think most people have a good idea between what actually works and what you just pull out once in a while to use when you're bored. Bungie has drawn lines between the actually good exotics and the "for fun" exotics thanks to excessive nerfs. Then you have the small subset of exotics that are only useful in very specific situations like Touch of Malice vs the sisters or Super Good Advice vs. Oracles.

Dragon's Breath which actually does more boss dps than Ghorn. Look it up on YouTube. DB vs Ghorn

Super Good Advice. The true machine gun experience. Pros: -Cool design -Actually manageable recoil, but kinda bouncy, similar to the Vex Mythoclast recoil pattern (bounces all over but it's still manageable) -Great DPS potential due to never having to reload unless your mag it's totally depleted. -Decent ammo reserves, but not great. Cons: -Machine guns basically are not as good as other heavies, specially when there are better damage dealing heavies like the Dark Drinker or the Sleeper Simulant. -Competes with Nemesis Star as a Solar Exotic machine gun (I don't count Abbadon because I really don't like the copylords, and Abbadon it's worthless having 2 solar exotic MG's already which are far better IMO). -It really needs ammo perks because 130 in total just dissapears when you don't have to reload. Buff suggestions: Due to the not very popular use of MGs right now I would make Surplus in it's current state an intrinsic perk, making SGA start with a 160 ammo reserve capacity, which would be great, and the Surplus effect actually increases how much ammo you get per ammo brick to all your ammo types (primary, special and heavy). This would make you have less ammo starving and let you get more ammo constantly (as far as I know only Häkke snipers, Corrective Measure, the Diluvian whatever MG that drops from crucible and Dragon's Breath are the only special/heavies that can roll Surplus).

Hardlight, beyond its screen shake its a pretty solid weapon.

No Land Beyond. Sure it's popular now but this gun had the longest reign of being vaulted. Always my boo.

Easily first curse. To me that's the best hand cannon in the game and is arguably my favorite exotic. I love the damn thing
