Thank you, Bungie!

I have been reflecting a lot about the conclusion of the first game in the destiny franchise, and it has got me thinking about how much this game means to not only myself, but to other guardians who have been changed by this masterpiece. This game is like a world in its self; a land in which we all can escape to when life gets tough, a land where we can hang out with our friends and triumph, a land where our lives mean something. In life, I am nothing but a 16 year old trying to make it through high school, but in destiny I am much more. I am a powerful guardian who is always lending a hand to those in need. This game has introduced many of us to people who we can now call some of our closest friends, and without this game none of those bonds would have ever existed. Such as my friends Thomas, Kevin and Christian. We are all of different ages and live across the country and would never have met each other if it wasn't for the way this game had put us in close quarters with one another. This game also pulls many guardians together, and requiring them to work as a team to overcome the greatest of challenges. It forces people to cooperate and teaches us the value of teamwork and the difference it can make. It has hit us with challenges that prove the saying "if you set your mind to something, anything is possible." Is true. Crota, Oryx, Trials, Atheon, Vosik and many other obstacles all have tested us and proves how we can triumph in anything - in game and out - if we give it our all. This game is not just a game, it's not just a disc and glowing pixels, it is a whole separate world; a world in which different people of unique cultures can band together and bond through completing common goals as a team. This game has touched the hearts of many guardians and have changed our lives for the better.

Nah. PvP was ruined and a lot of people got pretty tired and burnt out over poor balancing and excessive nerfs. It ended with a whimper and a longing for the better eras. Destiny had its bright spots if you had a lot of competent friends to play with and a lot of free time to grind for good gear, but I wouldn't call it a "masterpiece". All I really hope for at this point is that Bungie learns from their mistakes, but they're not really helping with abandoning 6v6's in D2. 2¢.
