How Does It Feel To Believe in Bogus Theories About The Round Earth?

I've taken a bit of a hiatus from offtopic, but I'm back now. Over the past few days I've been trying to understand why so many people believe in an obviously flawed and false conception of reality. Why does society almost universally accept round earth theory? It is as plain as the observably Flat horizon that Earth is not round, and yet everyone continues to believe otherwise. Most do not even understand what "gravity" is, and yet they use "cuz gravity" as some sort of solve-all explanation; an invincible proof that the world is round. To Planar Theorists such as myself this is extremely laughable: not even "scientists" themselves understand what gravity is. Ever since Newton the explanation as to why mass exerts a "pull" continues to elude explanation. This and a dozen other flaws in the spherist conception of the universe show how inherently flawed the round earth view really is. So I wonder: why do so many believe misinformation? Why are people convinced because some dude with a nice voice narrates an hour long special on the Discovery channel? Is Morgan Freemam really all it takes to convince people of completely unverified ideas? I am genuinely curious: how does it feel to believe in bogus round earth theories?

 • I verify it by hundreds of years of credible sources and observation based on facts and actual science. Like, if you dig a hole straight down far enough, and drop a ball down it, the ball will drift and hit the left wall. I don't doubt 7+ governments with space programs. I observe the world around me and see what goes on, then I go and find out the accepted theory. Then I look again and see if that theory looks true. I haven't devoted years of my life to know what I'm talking about, but they have, so I'm going with the guys who spent money and time to tell us what's what. I can point out flaws in your theory too, for example, if the earth is accelerating upwards, and the earth is slightly curved, that means that anyone not standing at the North Pole would need to stand on a tilt, otherwise they'd be pushed down at an angle and slide down the earth. All the oceans would drain and fall off too. I don't slide when I walk, and the oceans still exist, so what gives?
