No matter is you run, jump, crouch or shoot at the sniper guy, most likely you get shot in the head.
Then I started using it knowing Im not very skilled with snipers and the funny thing is that I actually killed a few players with random shots, like I really felt the assistance of the game.

Edited by Horizon: 5/10/2017 6:51:52 PMYep totally snipe aim assist too OP plz nerf the "pradyths revenge" oh boy it doesnt stop at 0 aim assist it ends at -2 aim assist is that too much?

I'll let the poll speak for itself...

Yes and no, it's irritating to try to snipe something then another enemy runs/jumps through your scope then it drags off a million miles away and it's good because it helps people with bad aim stay on target
-
Make snipers hard to use, that's one problem solved for d2.

Aim assist got huge nerfs after year 2. I had a 98 aim assist longbow that now only has 55. Plus flinch on snipers is pretty bad against weapons that aren't hand cannons

Edited by StrictlyTy: 5/6/2017 8:15:21 AMWow you killed a few players? A few? Nerf them into the ground Bungie. This guy killed a few players. Must be OP.

This game has higher aim assistance than some fps' (Halo especially) because this game has a faster movement system. I.e. jumps, evasive abilities, etc. The majority of the casual player base wouldn't be able to hit the broad side of a barn if this game had lower aim assist values across the board. A lot of people don't seem to realize that with a game that has the ability to move extremely fast, weapons and abilities have to have some sort of assistance to compensate for this.

I have always thought that sniper aim assist was very high, but I seem to be in a minority.

We already had a nerf to sniper aim assist a while ago. If you wanted to see what TRUE pain was, you should've been playing in the taken King. Thousand yard stares with hidden hand could still get a head shot with the guardian was swinging the sniper from its Butt like a baseball bat.
