What I'd love to see in D2 for the main start up menu is instead of just the title with "Press X" you see an empty campfire with the attacked city in the background, then when you come back after creating your Guardians you see your them standing around the fire staring at The City, ready to take it back. I think that image alone would hype up players so much for taking back what was stolen from them.
