PSA: Destiny 2 Will Still Be Destiny...
I've seen so many people saying things like, 'Oh in Destiny 2 they will fix this, or that, and it'll be just great!' 'In Destiny 2 there will be zero lag issues and we will all live happily ever after.'
I think these people need to wake up. If I'm wrong and by some miracle all of our hopes and dreams become a reality, ok. But this game has been out for YEARS!
YEARS and it's just as much of a mess from a pvp standpoint as it always was. Just because they're ready for people to play the second installment doesn't mean they went out and stole the servers from the Siva replication chamber.
Wake up now so you won't be disappointed later.
But tbh I can't wait for the forums to burn when the beta is a laggy mess.

They basically stopped working on Destiny like a year and a half ago. A tiny group of people have been the ones in charge of giving what we have had in that time. All the majority have been working on D2 and hopefully have made improvements with all the info they have. They are going to roll the red carpet out for all these content creators and show the pc community what's it going to look like on their if they aren't 100 pct confident in their work. Could it be disappointing? Sure. However, the odds are is that they have something they know is going to be a huge success. We will find out soon enough.

I agree. Destiny 2 was built on the same platform as destiny 1 Destiny 2 is just more cut content. It was supposed to be one of the original dlcs

10 RepliesDestiny 1 has been managed by a skeleton crew ever since TTK launched. Destiny 2's team has grown to nearly 1,000 people and they've been working on it for 3 years. Basically this will either be the greatest game Bungie has ever made or the beginning of the end of an era.
