yo! it's my first week! just making my first post! was wondering if i could get some help?
i'm kind of late to the party, i know
my mom is actually a huge destiny fan; she has the bungie emblem, 5615 grimoire, both age of triumph shirts, and platinum in all the dlc's and main game
so she's done until destiny 2, so i guess i finally get a turn to play lol - used to be on the xbox; but she already paid for all the DLC and stuff on ps4, so i hopped over
one of the things i want to try most today is the raid challenges; my mom says that if you miss a raid challenge week, you have to wait a month to do them again - so i REALLY want to do it, or at least try it
problem is, i'm only 375 (the director says it's just "HARD" unlike the nightfall which for me is "VERY HARD" in red letters) - i'm going to try to find a team that wouldn't mind TRYING to help me, i've never done a raid before, but i've watched my mom play this game for years
i'm sure i'd learn quick, but the Recruitment page is pretty strict, i don't think anyone would want to raid with me, and since i just got on ps4, i don't have any skilled friends yet, well, i mean i don't have any friends added yet lol, but yeah
btw, yes, i have a mom, i think we all do, but i'm 14 and i'm pretty mature by the way my mom's raised me, so if you're an older group and want to help me get the raid challenges, you don't have to worry about me losing my cool or anything, and if i hold anyone back, it's okay if i'm replaced, i just want a shot
alright, well that's my first post, i'm super excited, there's so much to do in this game (it's the last DLC so i guess that makes sense) later guys

I am a Destiny Veteran. I have been playing since year 1. For any new players looking to start playing Destiny there is a quest called refer a friend. It requires a Veteran Player (Myself) and a new player to complete quest line. I will help you complete the quest and run you though the whole game so you can too become an ELITE Guardian at Destiny and collect the rewards from the refer a friend quest. Try to get ur light up by doing strikes/Forge. 375 isn't gonna be much of a help in raids.

2 RepliesSounds like you've got a pretty damn awesome Mom! I would love to help out but I'm on Xbox. Try the Recruitment forum but just make sure to be as honest as you can about what you need help with and what you have or don't have experience with. The people who respond to those posts are the real Guardians. Whatever you do don't go joining random douchey tryhard groups with ridiculous requirements and crap. Just have fun with it!

2 RepliesWould you be interested in signing up for the refer-a-friend quest? I think you have to sign up before your 7th day.... and if it's a character on your mom's account it won't work anyway.
