You definitely changed something or no one is playing anymore
So its back to waiting 5 minutes (not kidding) in a queue to only start with 8 or 10 people in the lobby. Good job Bungie. You either broke something once again or people realized how little you care about your player base.

2 RepliesWell what do you expect when reporting does nothing. Rewards are rng instead of placement, meta is sticky and side arms, and red bar equals win.

3 RepliesThey've made changes to the crucible matchmaking so that the system will sacrifice time to search for more players closer to you with more varied stats in order to fix the problems with skill based matchmaking that was going on that people were complaining about. Maybe this is what you're talking about.

It's weird because the daily pvp numbers according to destiny tracker have been the basically the same with the same trends as before AOT. Not sure what's going on

Some people have moved on. Destiny is on its last breath before D2 is released, Bungie probably couldn't care less about the actual state of Destiny, concentrating the efforts on D2.

The screwed up crucible long ago. They SHOULD have put sandbox weapons in and have those weapons on their own nerf/buff pattern. Seperate from PVE because we all know it screwed a lot of our favorite guns. Basic weapons woukdve kept the game sorted to skill.

That's just proof of heavily favoured SBMM. You are in a higher skill bracket than a lot of others so the mm is trying to find you suitable players from a dwindling base. I'm average so the longest I usually wait is only 30sec - 1min. I'm tucked nicely in the middle of the bell curve.

1 ReplyPvP casuals like myself do not enjoy where the crucible is at. Nerfs and special ammo changes have made it unbearable. I drudged through IB and some crucible for record book achievements and hated every minute. I actually enjoyed iron banner previously and a few crucible matches here and there but it's horrible now. Bungie should undo all nerfs and try again with some -blam!-ing subtlety this time around.

the weekend wait has significantly decreased for me. in saying that it is full sweaty mode and i feel like im an everage 0.2 kd player hahah. i did take a 3 month break

2 RepliesTracker is only showing around 400k in PvP against almost 700k in PvE. ON THE WEEKEND. Yeah... looks like a large part of it may in fact be a dip in the active population numbers.

Can't argue with you there. I'll take the shotgun meta back anyday over this dwindling player base. I used a fusion and did well enough. Now I don't even bother with crucible unless I need something for the book or Iron Banner(IB is still fun because the player base comes back for that week) Nearly twice as many people in pve right now than pvp. Including me.

When players with 4000 hours in the game, hopeless addicts, are disgusted with the Crucible you know that PVP team made a huge mistake. Couldn't we have a blast for the final 6 months of the game? The motivations of Bungie middle management are just impossible to understand.

Game is almost done. Nothing carries over to D2.. No reason to keep playing other than shits and giggles now. Which gets old fast. Time to play something else till Sept.

I agree the matches are taking forever to meet up and half the time you start with less than full teams. It's just as bad in raids as I've been running the strike lists and landed alone several times. What's really odd is I see the same people every few days while in PvP that I was against in IB or just normal matches. Given how many people are in pvp shouldn't it be astronomical to face the same people on different days?

1 ReplySomething changed on tuesday and i can't even get a kill any more. To prevent having more unnecessary stress i did this: https://postimg.org/image/g1q1ddluz/ PLUS: This is not SBMM! I've made a new character and from last friday to tuesday i was happy for being able to play normally and had 1.57 k/d on my new Titan. From tuesday i suddenly couldn't get kills any more. So it's not SBMM, but a broken PvP.
