It's a Raid drop. Once you've done the Raid you get no drops for doing it again. That's basic knowledge.
If you're really dying to improve your chances you can spend your Knuckles of Eao on Atheon to get double drops.

No worries man. I know how the drops work for the generic raid armor/weapons. Just didn't know if it applied to the Vex because it's exotic and a specific drop only for atheon. It was worth a shot at seeing if it was true for how terrible the drop rate is.
