Destiny 2:Crossplatform
Please make Destiny 2 Crossplatform! Bump if you agree!!!
For Destiny 2, I will have friends on Xbone, PS, and PC but Id like to be able to play with them all.

Like you could do the thing gears of war 4 did where youd be given the option if you wanted to play against pcers as console in pvp, but like PvE who cares i just want to play with my old clan

Cross between xbox and ps4 not PC. It will never be balanced if PC is allowed to be cross platform.

I would love this, because me and a few of my friends all got destiny one but one of my friends had a PlayStation and me and my other friend has xbone and it was a real bummer that we couldn't play with him, since the only reason we got this was so we had a game to play together. Now I play Pc, my friend still has his Xbox, and the other one doesn't have a pc or a console suitable to play it, so he might get a new Xbox or something. Maybe it would work where you have to be invited to a party by a person on a platform different to yours, so pc players who have an advantage over console players can't go in just so they win or something, because that's the only reason I can see that would make them decide to not have cross platform support Another solution would be to make the person on pc have a controller of the servers that they're going to play on, and possibly vice verse for console player going on pc servers

There is money in it for Bungie if they allow cross platform save (or character persistence between platforms). My mates are mostly XBox, and I've got a kick arse PC (and ps4). I'll definitely buy the XBox one plus DLC. I'd do the same for PC as well if it meant I could play my character on either. Not a prayer of doing it if I can't. I went through that pain once already with a move from ps4 to Xbox. It's painful trying to earn your drops back when the rng is so evil. Months of feeling underpowered. Not happening again! You play on what your mates are on.

I don't care about cross play nearly as much as cross data. Let me keep my progress across all platforms SHOULD be doable even without cross play.

Yes. It should happen, at least between consoles. I have a lot friends who play games on certain consoles and since Destiny provides the experience on multiple consoles my friends play on those rather than going and buying another console to join us. It isn't enough to justify buying a seperate console. But If Bungie or Sony or whoever, was to decide on doing something like that it would only make Destiny that much more accessible, liked and even talked about since it would be one of few games to offer such an experience.

Cheating has always been a huge problem in Destiny. I fear opening the flood gated with PC cross platform could make things even worse then they were. But.... I would still really like to see cross platform play. I feel like that would embody everything Bungie is saying about bringing people together and all that. So I hope they do, but I hope they do it right.

1 ReplyAll my friends are getting PC Destiny 2 but im staying on PS4, i would appreciate if there would be complete cross platform or atleast one gamemode for that. Maybe in private matches or something. THat would really be appreciated for all of us because i think this will be a new issue for many Gaurdians

Yeah pc players have better aim and can react faster. So what? When it comes down to it you can mod both counsel and pc. Personally I hate mods and think that if you use them you need to get a life. Another fact is that if you don't like it get a pc because first they last longer (no next gen like the slim or Scorpio), secound they run amazingly, and theird they are cheaper to biuld and maintain. Last thing is that if you don't like pc players being better at trials or raids then get a pc your self. In all honesty I just want to raid with my friends on pc and Xbox. So why not?

1 ReplyYep crossplatform would be awesome. And yes PC has better aim blablabla, I would be very happy if I could fight PvE with my friends. PvP can be seperated in my opinion or two PvP Mode one cross plattform and one plattform only.

1 ReplyIt's plausible that they could make Xbox and Windows PC cross platform, if only for PvE. As Microsoft has said before, it's up to the developer.

Not only is it not Bungie's decision, but PC players have a considerable advantage over console players being able to aim and react much quicker and with more precision. Not to mention the fact that third party software is much easier to get on PC games.

I play Warthunder on PS4, and the PC players practically walk all over us PS4 players. For some reason PS4 lags a bit.

6 RepliesIt could be good for the players to cross platform between XBONE and PS4, but with PC added to the pool, I don't know if it would be a good thing. C'mon man. We know what will happen when Trials debuts in D2: aim-bots galore with sniper rifles. Keep that trash on PC.
