So let me get this straight, Bungie wants me to do a massive amount of things in Destiny, just to have to buy a t-shirt for $25 upon completion of the Age of Triumph Record Book as a reward? If we had gotten a special emblem/in-game reward for Destiny 2, I would have been very pleased, but having a t-shirt that we have to buy for even more money after putting in all that time feels like a slap in the face from Bungie. Anyone else agree, or is it just me?
-
Should have been free for total 100% completion of the book.
-
I'm gonna get mine then wear it to the destiny 2 release
-
60 bucks whit shipping if you are not from the USA, so no TKS, that's why I just kind of forgot the book thing now that I'm at 86% and have the level 6 emblem
-
At least it will carry forward
-
I'm utterly indifferent about it, but I'll probably still get it
-
No one is making you buy it. No company would give out thousands of shirts for free. Get a grip.
-
The cloak you get from that quest is Noice! Ran VoG yesterday with a guy who had it...mucho jelly cause I don't have it yet.
-
Well I like the shirt, and 25 dollars to a charity is fine by me, so I see no problem with it
-
Real question is... Why the shit is a t shirt 25 dollars?! Youre telling me a china made cotton shirt stamped with some colorful plastic is worth more than an expansion?!
-
I think everyone was disappointed with everything in those books..nothing good at all.
-
They are offering us a chance to purchase a real world item that has a significance to an achievement in a video game and the money made is going to charity. There maybe other video game developers that do that sort of thing but I've only heard of Bungie ever doing it. No one is forcing you to buy the shirt, plus the money goes to charity so I don't see the big deal. It's there if you want it, if you don't, that's cool too.
-
What does it look like ;D
-
You sound too young to earn 25 bucks yet. I just made that typing this reply. Complete it 100 percent..not just rank 7...maybe ill buy it for you
-
It looks nice, plus i have another excuse to display my big twins in a tight shirt. Once i hit rank 7 i will order the shirt just like i did with MOT shirt last year.
-
Wait, you still have to buy it even though you complete it?!
-
Emblems are lame, all the rewards from the book are therefore lame
-
can you advise/link where it said we wouldn't be getting a emblem/shader in D2 for completing AoT?
-
Edited by Zed The Wise: 4/5/2017 3:49:22 PMI got the code for the first shirt, wasn't even remotely interested in it. Gave it to the first reply on a forum post. I'm sure I'll do the same if I "complete" this book.
-
News flash...you only need to get to rank 7 to get the shirt. That is NOT the entire book
-
I want the shirt but what sucks is that even its smallest size can't fit me since I am thin as hell
-
All the AoT record book rewards are lame emblems.
-
Don't buy it and don't work that far into the book if you're that upset. Who cares if it's not some boring ass emblem?
-
it's just more proof that bungie is turning more and more into a money grabbing business.
-
I agree it's pretty bad that we complete a large portion of the record book just to be rewarded with giving up more of our money, bad move Bungie! Like you said I wouldn't mind if it was an emblem or something for Destiny 2
-
Whhaatttt?!!?! You didn't like the "thousands of dollars discount" for the T-shirt. The "discount code" is the reward. But you are right, at least a cool emblem would have been great.
-
What annoys me most about this type of thing is that I don't fit standard T-shirt sizes so I can't use the reward.
