You blanket reduced ammo capacity so many times to help pvp.... Well time to give it back for pve players. By removing ammo on spawn and death in pvp you negated the people hoarding special ammo.
The reduction to ammo does not make pve more exciting. All I hear in raids is "hold on, 2 more minutes for a synth". It didn't make battles more heroic or epic, it actually made them slower as people are playing it safe and hiding to save ammo. In the raids it's a nuisance on crota and heavy bricks drop maybe 1 to 2 a round if lucky.
I cleared crota 3x without issue but it's ammo economy issues like this that have haunted us from year 1.5.nerf.subnerf and ruin the game play speed.

Make fieldscout great again come on corrective measure could have 100 in a single mag that was great
-
PLEASE! 23 Black spindle shots I don't want to hear, pve should have the same effects as pvp. I swear I'll shoot my self with sleeper so it ricochets and kills your ass
-
But this idea makes perfect sense. Why would Bungie use a good idea?
-
Heavy synth countdown should reset on raid and wipes. Still having a countdown does nothing but make people sit around waiting for Heavy. And nobody lists "Good at Waiting" in their LFG posts... If you really need to use a synth then have a synth on tap during the the fight you can also do that by even more waiting.
-
It used to be worse than this at Crota, back on the day. With the heavy ammo bug, you would go through synthesis like they were going out of fashion. Does the heavy ammo glitch still work? That was always a handy work around.
-
I swear 90% of the nerfs bungie puts in place is for pvp and it always effects pve. Why can't there be 2 separate categories for nerfing and buffing items? This game advertised its "open world" not the pvp. Pve players shouldn't suffer because of the pvp crybabies
-
Or reduce synth cool down, it's annoying as -blam!- to wait 5 min for a synth if you are trying to kill gorgons with swords
-
You know what's messed up about post like this? This is something that should be looked into but this company ignores post like this. But the community manager has no problem making replies to nerf post or how can we improve this "weapon" and people wonder why there are problems in this game.
-
If anything they just need to buff ammo perks on armor. When your boots say "carry more machine gun ammo" it actually means "one single extra bullet for machine guns".
-
Maybe destiny 2 will be different
all we can do is hope
-
Either that or reduce/remove the cooldown timer on the ammo synths.
-
Bump. Special ammo perks on armor does almost nothing currently.
-
Agree 100% Give us ammo eco back and or reduce synth charge time. There is nothing that slows the pace faster in this game than the ammo inequity. Completely sucks the fun right out of what your doing when you have to constantly be worrying about your ammo eco. Bungie, this was dumb in the first place, but a fix would greatly be appreciated. Bring back pve ammo and with it, the fun
-
I said it at the time, IMHO the initial ammo nerf wasn't really intended for PvP because the impact was far bigger for PvE in the way it specifically affected DPS with respect to bosses. Whether Bungie wants to admit it or not the intent was to make it take longer to beat up the TTK raid. A solid percentage of PvP nerf's have an overarching Bungie themed positive impact on the PvE experience by slowing our ability to plow through the content. When you lack content the easiest way to make it last longer is slow the pace. Mission accomplished.

Bump. No reason I can only carry 15 sniper rounds with a chest when it used to be 18 by default.
-
Edited by blade329: 4/4/2017 9:02:56 PMI really wish there was a way that these lame PvP nerfs would stop affecting the PvE experience. I'm predominantly a PvP player, but I am miffed at the thought of PvE play suffering for the sake of the PvP whiners.
-
Exactly. There's no reason to not give back a higher total special ammo capacity. It's not like you can get 22 sniper bullets in crucible anymore, so why not in pve?
-
Drop the cool down on ammo packs it will not mess with PvP. That would make to much sense, I'm sorry

Edited by Sir Mordred: 4/4/2017 12:28:37 PMIf they keep this ridiculous ammo scarcity then banshee should sell primary synths again
-
Edited by HollowedWayfarer: 4/4/2017 12:35:54 PMAm I the only one who feels like they nerfed primary ammo drops a while back? Ever since this one patch, I've had trouble getting primary ammo to drop in raids and nightfalls.

In vog 4 shot to kill an oracle with my shotgun With 14 shell and all the enemies after 2 minutes i run out of ammo

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

100% agreed. I've had to resort to using those terrible Hakke sniper rifles just because they have the surplus perk. The weapons themselves are nearly useless in PvE, but they give you double ammo from all types of ammo bricks, so you actually get enough to play the game. This should have been reverted when they made the PvP changes.
-
If they could of separated PVP and PVE things would of been better.....
-
Agree completely
