Destiny 2 major suggestion

With the trailer released I thought that maybe I could make a suggestion about changing a major flaw in the first Destiny. Now, you can hear me out or not, your choice. I know that making a long life of a game is hard to do and making people play longer to get end game content is a cheese thing to do on top of rng. The weekly reset should only be a thing in bounties and certain rewards like legendary marks. However, making the players wait a whole week to earn loot out of raids is agitating. I know that taking out the weekly reset for raids means it will shorten the life cycle just a bit, but having it be a weekly chore to get the loot you want is kind of frustrating. It makes it feel like a chore to play Destiny just to look cool and get the top gear. It would be fine if the reset removed the checkpoints so they can't have the boss up and ready to go all the time and making hidden chests only open once a week too. Having the checkpoint loot restricted feels like, "Ok, you've done this once already, how about you go play something else instead? Like strikes that slows progress to the highest light level?"

  • Or just give the player multiple attempts like 3-4 a week. They would have to make it so you can only create one of each class to avoid rushing of content.
