Irony of the light? (Yes... another Theory)

I don't even have time to explain why I don't have time to explain how many times this topic has already probably been covered. But I came to this realization, and this idea, and theory. Now I know what you are all saying... You're not saying, you're sighing. "Theory? uhg." The traveler is associated with the light. And he brought his light upon the many civilizations he has come across, bringing upon each, a golden age. But each of these civilizations encounter a collapse at then end of this golden age. After this collapse, the traveler moves on. What of there is irony in the light. How have the guardians not seen this, realized that with ever golden age the traveler has brough, it has been met with a collapse. Has the light of the traveler had no other purpose than to blind them, blind them to its past transgressions it's brough upon the past civilizations and planets it's come across. You're ghost says that the traveler used the last of it's light to create the ghosts. While the traveler lies dormant, there is no light to blind them. These ghosts, "The exo stranger" refers to yours as "Little light." What better way to keep you blind than give you each your own companion, one that seeks out guardians... Guardians! and revives them. They protect the traveler while it lies dormant. Almost like an immune system. So what if the lights purpose has been nothing more than to blind them guardians into guarding this traveler well, blindly. What if the darkness is merely those who have witnessed the traveler's wake of destruction. You fight the darkness, but do you really know why, other than "they're evil, they're the bad guys." That's all I have for now, so I will go, and leave this here.
i haven't read the cards much so I'm not sure how accurate this analysis is, forgive my ignorance/inacuracy if I am not very accurate
I think we can make alliance with the Fallen as they just want the Traveler/Great Machine. We don't really know much about the Cabal. But the Vex and Hive are truly bad. The Hive have destroyed thousands of species in the name of the Sword Logic which is just evil. The Vex are against every species as they find them all imperfect not to mention that they want their own dominion in every parallel universe and timeline. They want to win in every possible situation.

Ehem. The vex want to reach a state in the universe were they win in every possible end to everything. The darkness destroys everything it controls The fallen. Now pirate scum. The hive. Constantly in fear of their worm. If the vex will eventually lose they wouldnt bother to have their units existing and working on planets. Therefore, the vex have already won. They have seen the end of the universe and are essentially keeping the light in endless loop. Another thing is in prologue films' montage we see the vex being born in the depths of the ocean. If the vex are the darkness they would be born in darkness. Which powerful race first encountered the darkness in the deep? The hive. The hive brought the whirlwind to the fallen which turned them to the darkness. Also, in the ps exclusive hunter armour, it talks about the ahamkara dragons ( hive worm gods) living in the depths of oceans. So maybe some of these ahamkara were tainted with dark vex power and ebcountered the krill or proto hive, aurash and her sisters. Also the taken, born of the darkness, look a hella lot like the heart of the black garden and the gorgons. Another support is the vex are manipulating us because all threats have been or will be eliminated. Kabr was using vex technology so he was seen as a threat. Praedyth was a warlock that could be used as bait when oryx tried to control the vex, but for some unknown reason the weak hunter known as pahanin survived, was it sheer luck? Or did the vex just see pahanin as irrelevant as our guardian. Im fully aware that my theory has nothing in relevance with youre post.

  • Well since Oryx has sided with the Darkness, and Oryx has "taken entire worlds (and slaughtered a ton of people to satiate his Worm)," I'll stick with the Light.

  • As explained in the Books of Sorrow, the first time the Hive got out of Fundament, they met a species called the Ammonite. They had been under the Traveler for presumably a long ass time. If the Hive hadn't joined with the Worm Gods and the Deep, then the Traveler could've possibly stayed with the Ammonite forever, if not, then until they become strong enough.
