There have been many videos out about LGBT videos being restricted on YouTube. They might have already fixed the problem because I can watch LGBT related videos just fine.

Anyway do you think that LGBTQ related content should be in restricted mode?
Discuss.
And keep it friendly

Restricted mode is optional and they censor videos that contain a lot of swearing, which I doubt most of the LGBT videos are immune to. I don't really see why everyone is so upset over their vids being censored in the restricted mode.

Meh. Young children shouldn't really be hearing about sexuality either way. So I can't really be mad.
-
Put it this way. The restricted mode can't look at every single video on YouTube, so it blacklists words, and some words such as "gay" are commonly found in some pr0nz titles. So, the filter is actually trying to filter out pr0nz. People couldn't care less about your lgbtwhatevertheacronymis videos.

I thought it was funny, but now it's over. I didn't really care in the first place.
-
I'd be happy if they were restricted, same thing for explicit content.
-
From what I've heard, it's simply a glitch. Even people like pewdiepie and jontron are being restricted.
-
Restricted mode blocks everything, not just lgbt videos. People are overthinking it
-
Is it LGBTQ+& videos, or videos with sexual content?
-
I don't give a damn about the content, the point of Youtube is to express yourself.

I'll say it before anyone else: In almost all videos relating to LGBT, the videos are about sex or sexual experiences, and that's not appropriate for children. Videos talking about straight sex are still restricted, those don't go past either. LGBT youtubers mostly talk all about sex, and use language kids shouldn't be watching. But the videos that those youtubers make that aren't about sex aren't restricted. Because really, the only difference between straight and gay people are sexual topics. The reason LGBT videos don't show up in restricted mode is because LGBT videos are almost always about inappropriate topics for children. Now if say a completely non-sex related youtuber got blocked just because they were gay, that'd be different. But I'm pretty sure that's not happening.
