Increase Vault Space

I agree: more vault space please. More space is needed because many of us like to try out different iterations (archetypes, specs, stats, perks) of weapons and quickly run out of space to do so. As well, many of us like to collect different looking weapons, even if we use them infrequently. Sometimes we even want the same weapon but with different chroma, to match it with different armor sets--and it would be great to be able to do this without having to destroy chroma. There is fun to be had in trying out and comparing weapon iterations and in personalizing weapons to go with different armor sets. An increase in vault space would be an easy and inexpensive way for Bungie to increase our enjoyment of the game. Vault space is just data, which is (nowadays) relatively cheap to provide and the data per item is not large (it's not like the actual graphical representation in its entirety is stored separately for every item for every player).

1 ReplyIt's not ok that we have blue print kiosks and No additional vault space. Say I have all the ornaments for an exotic weapon and need to delete that exotic to make room for something else....I have to buy that exotic again if I want to use it, plus get silver dust to. It the ornaments again? That's so annoying. With these new weapons and armor coming out it's not feasible to not increase the space. A lot of the reason ppl hoard the gear is because you guys are hard headed and don't allow us to keep what we want. It scares ppl into keeping it because whenever know what you guys are going to trash or bring forward. There's a lot of sentimental value and time invested into the things we have in our vaults and frankly to tell us, "delete it and move on" is disrespectful of what a lot of ppl have sacrificed to obtain. We know you can increase the vault. Just do it please. Stop being hardheaded and stubborn. How is Increasing the space going to negatively affect you guys? Or to be fair at least tell us the reason why you can't/won't do it and explain. You owe the community explanations to their questions. We have all carried you to this point because we appreciate your work.

Why is everyone wanting vault space? To hold gear that you never use? I know you have gear in your vault that you haven't equipped since Destiny released. Delete the shit move on.

I was disappointed with the no vault space.. as we are getting new weapons and armor. Time to delete a lot of things that I have Amazing rolls (not that it matters anyways,since nothing is being carried to D2)

You could just delete stuff that's getting replaced? Pretty much all of the raid gear is coming back in a useable form, so surely you can clear that stuff out to make space, it's no different, it's just updated.

Vault space isn't coming with the new update. Probably just as well, because it isn't needed.

They've already confirmed no additional vault space is being added.
