Thanks Mr Hamrick...

Congratulations Mr Josh Hamrick You have now turned all my Destiny friends away. Crucible was the one last place we could meet up and have fun together. But now because crucible is a mess no one wants to play Destiny. Thanks Mr Hamrick for ruining Our weekend.

When the stats start showing them that many more players are leaving the game without even trying the changes, maybe they pay attention to a simple fact: that customers are not stupid and that after more than 2 years playing the same game with the same weapons, all they need to make a educated decision where to leave the game or not, is read the patch notes.

      • I don't really envy them when half the playerbase says we want to run around with special constantly and the other half says stop all this damn special. That gave them two major choices. Continue to fruitlessly balance against an impossibility or change the availability to offset their power. People say just buff primary but that only has so much wiggle room with how many things enhance ttk like jade rabbit or litc and still keep it an arena shooter. For example thorn and messenger in how was a 0.6-0.4 ttk. Last word was 0.22. There is no time to react to just two trigger pulls that didn't need any pacing or range restriction. So there you hit another divide in the player base. Those that want a slower ttk and those than want fast twitch shooter ttk. For me the choice was simple. I like slower ttk. Constant availability of special meant constant rushing and constantly put me on the defensive. It became boring and monotonous. Buffed primaries would have been the same thing. Constantly on the defensive because ttk is so high you're constantly trading. Call me old or call me a scrub. Either way I don't like twitch shooters. I like the movement speed though. I like being able to juke around someone and put bullets into them rather than just bline rush all the time without care from the ttk being so fast. If you're constantly at 11 you can't appreciate a 6. So the fast pace that many found fun I found boring and monotonous. Fast but bland. Now things are interesting. Slow but hey that also comes with age. I don't get anything from going really fast. No give me an obstacle course and I get interested. Speed demoting an a jet ski is fun for a second but then I start looking for wakes because that's what's interesting. The ebb and flow. Kinda the best way I can think to put it right now. But it's all preference and and even the leeway the game should have for that it can't because the programming is so restrictive. 3v3 can't be separated from 6v6 in many aspects. Pve can't be separated from pvp in many places as well. I can only hope they rebuilt the engine for D2 but I doubt it. We may see some major fixes but they aren't throwing out years of development. They will bandaid the engine till they can't anymore just like halo and cod.
