Instead, have special ammo drop from enemy guardians. I think this would speed up overall gameplay. Trials of osiris can be excluded from these changes. I also think that there should be a mechanic (similar to that PvE modifier) that doesn't allow ammo to drop for the weapon you're killing with/holding. That'll incentivize players to use their entire arsenal throughout the match instead of sticking to one weapon the entire time. If primary ammo is a problem then that change could apply purely to special ammo, bringing down the numbers of "warriors" seen in the crucible. I also believe that on death you should lose a percentage of your ammo as some form of penalty, and so that players can't hoard a ridiculous amount
Long story short, Special ammo should drop from slain PvP enemies on Primary and Heavy weapon kills. A portion of your ammo should be taken upon death

Wouldnt work, hands down, couldnt work. This would create a huge snowball effect in PvP in which a single person could take over the game. This would also bring shotguns to the forefront and destroy snipers. I find this an interesting idea, and a good idea, but i think it would snowball to one team shotgun rushing everywhere and the other team trying to salvage what they can. It also promotes camping, which no one wants.
