Shindig in the crucible
This Last Word is broken...especially the quest...I don't complain a whole lot: when I get whooped, I try harder...but this quest is for the birds...Im the type that just wants to complete the entirety of the game...will I ever use the gun probably not but it is a piece of the game undone...been playing crucible for the past hour or two trying to complete shindig in the crucible step 1...I need direct advice because I just went 14/7 kd and we won the game in control and I lost precentage on completion...wtf...

its cause tlw kills give 1%, ability/other weapon kills 0,5% and deaths removes 2%.

Not sure if this still works or not but I actually helped my buddy do this in private matches. It was incredibly slow going I think like 1% ever 2-3 kills and no bonuses for streaks or any other medal, but if he died in the private match he didn't lose any progress. I see you are on xbox if you want to try this out and need someone shoot me a message.

If you struggle with TLW I would head into mayhem on a goldy with a shotty. Play passive, get that super and churn out the triple downs. I would also run trip mines over incendiary as you can fill a whole hallway in about five seconds. You will go 3.0 ever time with a certain amount of ease.

Reminds me kinda of the Thorns quest in year 1. I kept doing vault of glass hoping Atheons Epilogue would drop for me but I would get the Vex Myth over and over and Fatebringer but never that stupid void auto rifle. I hated to play crucible back then and hated shotguns so I didn't want to complete the Thorn quest till I got the void auto. Finally it dropped for me right before Dark Below and I finished the quest within two seconds. Lol. I'm so stubborn though because I probably could have completed it before getting the auto but when I have my mind set on something I have to see it through. Kinda OCD I guess? Lol! Now I have this Chaperone quest and it's like 43% done but I can't bring myself to finish it. I can't stand seeing that percentage go down. Especially since the lagging issues nowadays are what determine if your team wins or not. Sucks.

1 ReplyDo what I'm doing (suggested); u get 3% for being on the winning team. If u feel your team is going to win switch to TLW before the end of the match. Then death penalty doesn't apply

1 ReplyEdited by Maestro25: 2/24/2017 8:31:18 PMGunslinger, Mayhem Clash. I like ATS/8 Arachnid since you can be more patient with Golden Gun and activate from a safe distance. Camp your butt off. Basically don't move from your spawn until you have your Super. If you feel you're gonna have a terrible game, switch from TLW so it doesn't lower percentage. Also switch if you're about to lose. Remember you don't need kills with TLW. Just gotta have it equipped. That's the easiest way to do it. After I figured it out, it wasn't too hard for me. Just gotta be patient. (Chaperone isn't worth it tho)

To add to what was already said, you don't get any percentage for super kills, but kill streaks are worth 10% (5+ kills in a single life.)

The specifics aren't really known, but it's generally accepted you gain about 1% per kill and lose 2% per death. You gain bigger chunks for larger kill streaks and lose more for larger death streaks.
