Bungie, mods, anyone please for once answer me
This is unreal, this is what I see on a DAILY basis. this isnt a once a week, month or few month occurrence. This is me being punished for being in higher % of players, literally punished for being "good" or as good as one can be in this ridiculously unbalanced and underserved game. I can provide evidence of players constantly from other countries, or at the least on the complete other side of the US. I live in the midwest and am constantly matching people in Puerto Rico, Brazil, Portugal, UK, CHINA????? and even India a few times. How is that ok? Are you guys going to blame player base? Come up with some excuse because I have posted evidence of this garbage since you guys went mental and threw SBMM down our throats. You are killing your own game and cant do a simple thing like removing SBMM or at least having idk....-blam!-ing standards of online play. I am so disappointed in you guys and I am so so so tired of saying "well maybe Destiny 2 will get it right." you guys dont deserve that confidence from us anymore you havent earned it after all the shit you have done to worsen this game.

Hey there, Destiny's matchmaking is primarily Connection Based these days. Bungie has reduced Skill Based Match Making by a lot a few months ago. Skill still plays a factor, however, Connection is preferred over Skill. That being said, you either have a connection that is similar to people's connections from countries such as China, the United Kingdom etc. (which is very likely) or the Match Making fails to connect you to people with similar connections and starts looking for people that are around your skill level. Just because someone is lagging doesn't mean their connection is bad. It just means that their connection to the other players in the game is bad. Destiny uses P2P connection so lag is a very common thing.
