I love how this patch has distracted every one from the most important thing...
Is there anything coming before d2 or not?
Because if you haven't noticed there is a very committed PVE fan base that have been very patient.

I played them enough in the first 2 years, we need something fresh but I doubt we will get it. I mean, year 1 I played about 1200 hours, year 2 maybe 300 hours and this year just a couple hundred. They just haven't really added anything worth investing any time into since TDB. HoW was fun for the weapon re-roll and Etheric light for old gear but that was just to keep us busy before TTK. Since then it's just blah and doesn't hold my interest. This game with it's ever changing economy and double RNG grind is becoming intolerable, there is no fun to be had here anymore.

2 RepliesThey're bringing back the old raids. We kind of have known this for a while. So it's like a week of enjoyment coming. I suppose newer players will have fun as they haven't ran the old raids beyond boredom like I have.

7 RepliesThey told us all when rise of iron was released it would be the last "Large expansion" for Destiny and that there ws only a small amount of the team still focusing on the first iteration of the game. We MIGHT see another event like festival of the lost so bungie can snag one last cash grab but don't expect any so called "new" content. We all knew this before Christmas and the dawning.

1 ReplyI believe there will be one last major PvE update for the game that will come in April. In the past, the free (at least we can hope) content buzz was started about 4-5 weeks before it happened. So that March roadmap that was hinted in the TWAB is probably the weekly releases of information that build up to it. Just based on past history time frames I don't see the actual update happening in March, but we should start seeing what we have to look forward to in a couple of weeks. (All speculation, but I think it will be a revamp of the VoG and CE raids with the return of the Vex and Nechro. I don't see that Pyramid raid coming to be with the most likely focal point of D2 being the full might of the Cabal empire invading. LL increase, Dubious Volley and maybe Pocket Infinity, a couple more strikes (maybe - we haven't run the Taniks map backwards yet lol), re-release of some old gear, maybe even a couple of new mechanics like transmogrification or vanity gear slots, more vault space, who knows. But I tend to look at what is officially on the community wish list to see what might be in the pipeline) Anyways, my over-stretched two cents.

2 RepliesI think there will be an update sometime in Spring. If D2 is indeed coming fall/late fall, then the update has to somehow lead to the events of Destiny 2, at least I hope so to make the story and character transition smooth. What will be the content, we should know sometime in March possibly. The relatively simple task would be updating and/or revamping the old raids to current lights levels, in the process bumping the LL up by a bit (like April 2016 update did for the LL from 320 to 335). And as I said before, I am hoping they somehow lead us to the events of Destiny 2 in the content update.

12 Replies$#@! Destiny 2. Unless they state on the record that PvE and PvP will have equal attention from the devs and weapons will have discrete stats for each mode, why would anyone repeat the train wreck that was D1.
