As most of my fellow ES fans probably already know there's a lot of speculation going on that the next game will be set in vallenwood so let's assume that's true. What do you guys thing of the setting when do you think that game will Thare place and when will it release.
I personally love the idea of it being in valenwood dark and wood elves are my favorite races to play as. Also hoping for s more open map maybe have a border into some of the bordering regions and for us to go to areas right on the border maybe a kahjit city or town is elsewyr . As for the time period I'm hoping for it to take place at the very end of the 4th era and the end of the main story will lead into the start of the 5th(with some sort of event that shakes everything up). As for release as the recently started working on it I'd say at the earliest December 2018 but more likely some time mid 2019. So what do you guys think I honestly can't wait but I'm think of picking up the witcher 3 to hold me over till then.

Isn't Valenwood super small though?
-
Nah The Elder Scrolls 6: Tamriel You kniw you want it!

Edited by Gustav: 2/27/2017 7:14:11 AMI personally think High Rock would be a good place. From what I've heard, it has a very 'Witcher 3 Blood and Wine' type theme. We haven't really seen alot of that in TES, you know, chivalry and royalty and all that.
-
Unfortunately they are currently working on a new ip so I don't think we are gonna have es6 any soon.
-
We need a goddamn elder scrolls set in elsweyr already
-
My cousin somehow threw the Elder Scrolls into the Ocean...
-
I don't think that time period would work, as skyrim's story also takes place in the later end of the fourth era and the dragonborn/alduin's coming is supposed to happen in the "turning of an era." Basically meaning after skyrim's main story is finished and Alduin is defeated, that it should be time to move onto the next or fifth era.
-
I'm just hoping it's not another Fallout 4
-
Hopefully they make the Valenwood cities bigger than the cities in skyrim. Skyrim seem underpopulated and the civil war seemed like only a skirmish. I hope in Valenwood they make the battles more intense
-
At this point I'm done waiting eagerly for several years for Bethesda games. They take so long to release them and when the games come out they're still unpolished and glitchy as hell. The only games that Bethesda has released in a playable state are Dishonored 1&2.

I'd love to play an ES game set in hammer fell with vast deserts where you have to keep track of your hydration, hunger, and heat exhaustion. Maybe they could put that in some kind of "realistic" mode.
-
I wish they didn't restrict themselves to just one section of tamriel. Some of the older games were daring enough to spread into multiple regions
-
If they just started developement, you are gonna want to wait until 2022 or 2023 if you want it to be any good.
-
I've never played any TES before so I might give VI a go once it's out.
-
I just hope they revive the spell absorption+telekinesis mechanic back from Oblivion. That made that game so much fun.
-
Well...given that most major settlements (there is another one that needs your help) in Valenwood are in large migratory trees...I have no clue how this would work in an open world game. I like the setting, but am not sure it can be fully realized with the current tech

FITHY N'WAH!

Well I still think it will be Hammerfell. Why? Because it is the last indepenent province that is activly fighting the Altmer Dominon, so if they stick with Skyrim's timeline Hammerfell or sumerset Isles make the most sense from a lore perspective.
-
I think it would be neat if it took place during the Oblivion Crisis, if only to have an excuse to visit it again.
-
I think you're being a bit too optimistic, serja.
-
I want it
-
Would like to see how the werevulture would work as a playable transformation and how they would work gameplay wise, it would be cool for them to have some form of flight and not floating around like vampire lords do in skyrim Lycanthropy is very different for certain regions in elder scrolls in case your wondering about werevultures

I want to think Valenwood as well, simply because of the areas available in ESO. Just imagine seeing Elden Root and the other cities. Reaper's March is viable as well, considering that it was originally part of Valenwood.
-
I'd rather see black marsh or shadow finn what ever the argonian home region is called... I think all the swamps and big trees would make a really unique setting... But regardless of where it is set it's gonna be epic... And in a related but not related topic... I can't wait for Morrowind in ESO... 6-6 1-7 can't come soon enough...
