Can the description for thunderstrike be taken off and replaced with "normal melee that has no secondary effect" please

It's all good dude, with amp before the patch it hit at 9 meters, with amp after the patch it hits at 8 meters, it's still really strong.

How bout we just change Stormcaller to "Default no abilities."

It's still the longest ranged melee in the game with amplitude. And if you aren't running amplitude, then you have larger problems. lol

I think it should chain lightning by default and the chain lightning perk allows it to chain lightning more.

They hardly nerfed the range on stormcaller mele it is definitely longer range

Back during HoW, I made a request for Warlock Melees... make The Ram add a headbutt/charge melee. I still stand by this request.

well technically its name is correct considering thunder is the sound lightning makes when it breaks the speed of sound so you are technically hitting your enemies with sound

They should have at least gave it a damage bump.

It's still amazing how many people miss the point... The nerf was to the actual melee not one of the perks. So the base ability of storm caller melee used to grant additional range even without amplitude. Now the base melee has no effect without a perk, which lands storm caller melee in a unique position compared to every other class/subclass. Funny thing is now that every storm caller ever is running amplitude it's probably going to end up getting nerfed again.

They need to make Thunderstrike chain to additional enemies by default, have Chain Lightning increase the number of enemies, and distance, it can chain to, and redesign Amplitude to a perk that transforms Thunderstrike into a projectile-type melee.

It does arc damage .... it does ARC damage. How is that "nothing" ?

You know it is 2x the range of a warlock melee right? And blinkstrike is even less than a normal warlock melee. Still goving you the longest range in the game.
