It's supposed to be a longer range hand canon if I understand its function correctly. It's THE friggin exotic perk on the gun if I'm not mistaken.
It's literally the slowest weapon/highest TTK in the game. It's not meant for close ranges.
You knew that taking away CRIT damage from Chaperone was ridiculous and so is taking the range from First Curse.
Please reconsider this

15 RepliesThe range nerf really shouldn't have happened at all. It's not like HCs had great range before. Reducing the falloff cap to 33% [i]and[/i] hitting the range was too much. It should've been one or the other. HCs are great now, I'm not disputing that..but they made it so you [b]need[/b] rifled & rangefinder more than ever. You still get ghost bullets with Hawkmoon, for example...& uffern with Rifled Barrel. Because the range just isn't there. Personally I think each archetype should have a set range.(a [i]good[/i] set range) & boosts from perks like Rifled Barrel are minimized. So HCs are good in their own, & Rifled Barrel Rangefinder is still king but not [b]necessary[/b] for consistency & competition.
