This PvP change has made this game completely unbearable in trials and is not even fun anymore. I hate that I have to use a sidearm if I want to have the gameplay be faster paced but at the same time no one plays that fast-paced gameplay, so it cancels everything out. People with bad chemistry at least had a chance in the previous matador meta because the gun itself was strong. Now nobody stands a chance in competitive trials of Osiris unless they play in an unfavorable manner. This has killed the game for me and I refuse to play it until I'm allowed to use what weapons I like in competitive pvp. EDIT: I think this was misconstrued. The issue I'm addressing is that, because of the special ammo economy, trials of Osiris has become overwhelmingly slow paced for those who don't want to use sidearms as their secondary weapons, or use a play style that involves being overly passive. Certain weapons cannot be used right away because of the special ammo economy, and that's why I say they basically don't exist.
