One of the interesting things to have come out of this patch is how we redefine an optimum roll. By way of example, I got an Eyasluna to drop for my hunter yesterday with Sureshot/Underdog/Explosive rounds and Icarus. Until this week I would have instantly dismantled it on the basis that it does not at least have a range perk and I have a couple of 'god roll' Palindromes and LHFs, but with the new HC range nerf + accuracy buff changing the character of HCs (for the better in my opinion) I thought I would invest some motes and take it for a spin for science - It was an absolute beast. Got a couple of triples and shut down a couple of supers with it in the first game. I have 3 or 4 Rifled Barrel Eyaslunas sitting in the vault that are, according to accepted wisdom 'better' but this oddball roll just felt great and I am not sure why. I would be interested to hear if any other guardians got a drop that they nearly dismantled, only to discover it was an undiscovered monster.
