I know this is long but PLEASE read it all the way through. I am 15 years old. About 7 months ago i made a post on the forums asking if legacy consoles could get buffed to 1080p as a last minute buff before rise of iron dropped. I didnt know if it was possible, i just knew that minecraft ps3 was 1080p so i assumed destiny could be too. But i asked because i didnt know. Then comment after comment people personally attacked me. Calling me dumb, and stupid, saying "why would you even ask that stupid?" And things of the sort. People started telling me to get off my lazy butt and get a job and get a ps4 and stop complaining about legacy consoles, when they didnt know my situation. At the time, my situation prevented me from doing that because of various circumstances. But some people have no respect, so 95% or more of the comments were personally attacking me. About an hour afterwards (and i regret doing this because it was immature and i was wrong to do this) but i put another post saying "screw this fudging community", because i was hurt by the words people said. And then people made fun of me for saying "fudging" instead of using vulgar language. I know, i know, "dont listen to people online cause they are just looking to stir up trouble." But you can't unread things. And its hard to forget them when they are personal attacks. I say all that to say this. Be careful what you say. Because your words can have a lasting effect. Think before you speak. Yes even online. Because words hurt, even through a forum comment. Because of these people i completely got uninvolved with the destiny community for 7 months... the tongue is like a double edged sword, so be careful what you say. Please.
