Honestly Bungie, if I wanted to play PVP I would be playing Halo or Titanfall or something else. While PVP should not be removed from destiny, Bungie should really start focusing on PVE more.

If i wanted to play a halo i would go to halo reach Halo 5 is the worst xbox one exclusive we have titanfall is just another type of cod I want to play a game that feels like a bungie work, being a pve or a pvp experience stop being a crybaby omg, crucible ruins destiny omg, where's my op weapons omg, balance should be separate NO ONE asked for that nerfs PVP is horrible now THEY DO can separate the nerfs they already done that before so stop blaming on pvp users

Edited by Omence072: 2/20/2017 4:14:50 AMBecause pvp in every single game ever that consists of pve and pvp has the most obnoxious and rude players and for that reason they often get the most attention. I'm not saying all pvp players are like that but a large portion are. I think of it like two children: one is sitting and playing with toys and is content. The other is screaming it's head off because the toys aren't to their liking. Which child will be the first to receive attention?
-
Because its easier and cheaper to nerf guns than make actual content.
-
Crucibabies rule in Destiny unfortunately.

Streamers

PvP is the most played part of the game between content updates and weapon balance patches have very little impact on PvE. There has yet to be a balance patch that's made it harder for me to complete raids, nightfalls etc.

Edited by SergeantStretch: 2/20/2017 8:40:47 PMBecause running around shooting at other people over and over and over and over and over on the same maps is incredibly hard. Its so much different from PvE where we only run around and shoot AI over and over and over and over and over on the same maps. See the difference???

Edited by Old Man Lawlor: 2/23/2017 8:49:07 AMBecause fuck you. That's exactly why.

because it does not matter that much in PVE 3% here, 8% there - does not matter - you can still use auto-rifle, shotguns whatever butbut what about truth...there is gjallahorn, dragons breath, this heavy-fusion which does lots of damage, 3 thunderlords and moreover there is still truth, you just have to reload you could probably beat the strikes with melee only
-
without dedicated servers for pvp, balance attempts are a pathetic band-aid many other much better pvp games available now that are not ruled by "lag wins" breaking pve to try and appease the pvp crybabies is inexcusable
-
Who honestly plays this games garbage pvp? I mean when you have games like bf1, Titanfall 2, overwatch, even bo3. There are so many games that actually have a fun multiplayer experience unlike this game.

Edited by KitsuneSonow: 2/21/2017 2:03:17 AMIt's kinda sad that a lot of people forgot that the main focus that was advertised throughout the years leading up to the Destiny release was this huge universe with lots of enemies and adventure and now think that PVP is and should be the main focus of the game. There are tons of games that solely/mostly focus on PVE content and people have been playing them for years. Sure, like Destiny, they take a break every once in a while, but that is usually weeks, months, and even years after the original content or expansions released. I know people today even that are still playing Borderlands 2. Destiny however also lacks 3 things those games have: -Meaningful PVE content that captivates the players -A plethora of playable classes and sub-classes that gives a genuinely unique experiences with each playthrough -Gear that is meaningful, useful, and powerful
-
It's cheaper and faster than developing new content. It doesn't take much to please the apes playing pvp, after all
-
PvP is the $ of this game. Yes yes yes we've seen all the kids quote destiny tracker stats showing 75% play PvE and 25% PvP but it's about $$$$. How many PvE streamers are there? Slot when a new expansion comes because a new raid after a month it's old boring and useless. PvP streaming is huge. Streaming is free, FREE, advertising for Bungie. Bungie supports said streamers. PvE can't ever be as fruitful as PvP. Too keep PvE fruitful costs bungie tons of man hours and expansions. PvP could have no changes and remain playable
-
The update that bought The Dawning had loads of stuff for PvE. General fixes, Strike scoring, "new" gear to earn. PvP players get an update that breaks half the game.
-
PVE is limited, rigth now only a few group of people do raids and the elite bounties and ice breaker makes some people to do nightfalls but there is a big bunch of sons of osiris fighting every weekend and thats why the patchs are focused on pvp.
-
PVE is the easiest thing to do. The enemies can't hit water if they fell into it.
-
I think bungie needs to stop worrying about what everybody uses and balance the damn game.
-
Edited by Mickey Padge: 2/20/2017 5:13:39 PMBecause the pvp players cry and moan the most lol
-
It's not even the majority of pvp playlists that are dictating weapon and class balance, it's a single playlist- Elimination.
-
Because they want to keep their MLG streamers happy
-
Because balance patches are balancing pvp. That's their intended purpose. Nobody wants balanced pve play. I want to be a damn super hero in pve. There has to be a way to separate them.
-
Edited by wojo55: 2/21/2017 10:47:35 PMThey been nerfing and buffing things since release. It's a casual pvp experience so I don't understand why they do it much as they didn't design the game to be balanced in pvp. I'm sure hearing constant updates does help keep the game alive though don’t let this distract you from the fact that in 1998, The Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and plummeted 16 ft through an announcer’s table.
-
Comes down to one word.... 'MONEY'
-
Because why do you need to rebalance weapons for PVE? Other than when they nerfed gally, black hammer, and icebreaker, nothing has been broken in pve and they've often buffed guns in pve, like when they made shotguns stupid OP that time!
-
Edited by GrundleBeans: 2/21/2017 8:45:01 PMThe same reason why most people here focus only on PvP. PvE is generally fine with whatever weapon changes they make. Rarely are changes very impactful to it and people are quicker to adapt. We mostly don't care if a pulse rifle or a shotgun gets a nerf, because the nerfs they get are usually PvP-centric and the perks you focus on for PvE are just different.
