I'm specifically talking about overwatch, but I feel like it could go for any team style attack defense game
160 hours on lucio alone and another 30 with Ana, I'm just trying to make a request.
PROTECT YOUR SUPPORT/HEALERS
I can't stand losing matches because
A) tanks/dps won't stop running in and I have no one to heal
Or
B) no one's getting kills so I'm constantly being targeted by the enemy team
I'm not asking that you follow your healer around the entire match, but I am asking that you know where they are, especially for tanks. Know when they're being attacked or when someone's targeting them. It'll help with keeping us both alive because I can heal you, and you can do damage. Same thing goes for support players to always know the whereabouts of your tanks.

a good Lucio should be able to protect himself
-
Git gud
-
I'll stay close...until I die
because it happens so meh lol
-
Use sleep on Ana or sound wave on lucio and speed boost out that really helps
-
I play alot of support in overwatch too but at the same time awareness of my team currrnt positioning is key and i tend to stick by the tanks and objective more for more survivability but also i hate it when some of my teammates spams i need healing when i have just finally died one of many perks from playing solo queue i guess but eh lol
-
As a Rein main, I agree. Someone touches my Ana, they die.

Meanwhile on PC...

People are terrible at games fam. Unless you're matchmaking in a group, games will automatically give you only people with botched lobotomies as teammates while the other team are automatically TAS level gods.
-
Why would you protect the person who keeps you alive? That makes too much sense. Further more, can't you just heal yourself?
-
Don't worry, my friend, I am your shield!
The luckiest seven you will ever meet
Learn to protect yourself, this is diamond, nobody will know how to help their supports
-

While i do support the supports, as I play as them regularly, it is not always possible to know where they are or what they might do if the person has no mic or is not cooperative. And as somebody who also has a lot of time in Tanks and Attackers, it is not possible to always focus on one person to help especially when trying to focus on the other six players who are attacking the rest of the friendly team. I would not rush as a Reinhardt or a D.Va into a hopeless situation just to save one person, as I may be protecting the others. It would depend on the hero, the player, the situation.

Yes ok

Quit playing with randoms.

I main ana on comp at 3967 sr Currently. I never have an issue not being protected since I feel like mostly in those casual ranks like diamond that tanks and dps don't know what their roles are. Also as ana I just put people to sleep if they attack me and call on my rien to pin them.
-
As a quote from my healer/tracer main friend who is in diamond, the difference between a good and bad healer is being able to protect yourself.
-
I always hate playing support and getting blamed for losing. I keep telling people in game that the enemy tracer/Genji is killing both supports but they never do anything to try to protect us then go on to blame us "You should be able to kill their flankers" was one guys excuse
-
As a lucio main, always have an escape route. Anytime a flanker comes behind the rein shield I start wall riding up the map to escape.

Your cries fall on deaf ears. Unless your are grouped with your team, you need to start practicing running
