GOW vs Halo: Most Difficult

Gears, by a lot.

Halo, by a lot.

Gears, it's close though.

10

Halo, its close though.

Neither. They are equally hard at max difficulty.

Not enough experience to know.

Can't decide.

Which series, when played at the maximum difficulty & Solo, is the most difficult?
In Gears, you can get one shot by ALOT of things NORMALLY. But you can always get revived by teammates. Not on Insane. If you go down, you die. Also, enemies have a ton of health and do a ton of damage.

In Halo, you have shields. Which on max difficulty....are like an egg shell to a hammer. However, because the first few games (including Reach and ODST) are harder then the later games, WE ARE NOT INCLUDING HALO 4/5. With that out of the way, you actually stand more of a chance at close quarters then in Gears. Your melee is much stronger then the one in Gears, and you can save yourself much more with it. Not to mention enemies have mountains of hp and their dps is often enough to just one shot you. [looking at you, H2 jackal snipers]
My Personal Experience:
When I was younger, at least 2-3 years, I played through and beat all of the Halo games on Legendary in chronological order. It was a blast, but hell. Halo 1 and 2 took weeks for me to beat. 3, however, didn't take long at all. I grew up playing it, and it was more or less muscle memory. I'm currently in the beginning of Gears 4, and let me tell you it is already MUCH HARDER then any of the OTHER GAMES. 1,2,3, and Judgment had their more then fair share of bullshit, but so far, 4 is -blam!-ing insane. I'm getting flashbacks to Halo CE.
