Are PVE players supposed to quit until Destiny 2 ?
just wondering because I see no effort by bungi to keep people playing PVE....
they could at least give us back our element primaries if not more

Yup, I've quit until D2. I think I've played 2 hours in the last month or so. Just boring now, as expected.

26 RepliesWhat I don't get is why PVE players just do PVE. Like seriously, doesn't it get boring doing the exact same things every single week. If most PVE players thAt think PVP in this game sucked, played PVP longer than 2 days, I think they would enjoy it. But that's just my opinion.

2 RepliesRemember when Bungie cared about us? Back in Vanilla. The game was PvE focused, with the Queen's Wrath, and then IronBanner came out. And that was the end of everything... I miss VoG. I miss Nightfalls that you could look at, and go: Let's -blam!-ing do this. I miss Elemental primaries, OP exotics. Do you remember when Destiny was fun? It used to be my friends would carry me through Destiny, since I got it as an early Christmas present from one. Now? I'm the one carrying them.

3 RepliesPvE players are supposed to stop playing Destiny and enjoy a real PvE game, Mass Effect Andromeda, with an actual story, developed characters, fun gameplay, and actually varied classes and gameplay mechanics.

You don't? The Dawning was just over a month ago. Festival of the Lost barely 2 months earlier. Rise of Iron a few months before that and the April update just before that. Are you expecting new content every month?

PvE was a one time trick the Bungie played over and over and over and over and over again on us. lol It was intended to be a PvP game all along

1 ReplyNow that I think about it, they should have tried to at least release a new strike every month using the existing areas, just different enemy types, maybe enemies fighting each other, and add some new areas that are currently mission only and use them for strikes. Imagine if you had a strike that brought you to the flayers area, but this time, you fought a vex mind. What if you went into the tunnels of the off world transit station to fight off some hive trying to start a new after we killed off Crota - wouldn't some hive give up following and lamenting the death of Crota? Obviously not for me to figure out, but imagine 10-12 new strikes a year. We would have about 50 strikes to play at this point. All I'm saying is they reused areas for certain missions and these could be places you go for strikes, with more significant activities or enemies, as well as reuse areas reserved for existing strikes but change the challenge with different enemies and needing to use places you normally don't use for cover.

Edited by cellar dweller: 2/15/2017 6:10:17 PMi play mostly pve and have played on xbox since the beta and just got a ps4 pro in november just for a fresh start (and for the last of us). it was fun for a bit again but got boring quick and most people left except when they are getting paid for trials carries, it's a shame they quickly made this into a mostly pvp focused game, at the beginning it seemed like it could have been much better. sometimes it's easy to forget also not everybody can just grind out a ton of hours and get all the prizes, some kids are only allowed to play on weekends or an hour a day after homework and whatnot and adults when they arent at work or taking care of responsibilities so for the grinders the content dries up and they complain meanwhile others are still within their first 100 hours after all this time. they could definitely give us back elemental primaries and why the heck does the whole forum keep crying about an auto rifle buff, why the heck would you want to use an auto rifle anyway they are squirrely and aren't supposed to get much range either, i hate hand cannons but i would use one of those over a auto rifle any day, even in old halo the AR'S were just for the bad kids spraying and praying. i've been playing halo 5 and some other games for a bit just for a change, hopefully the update has made shotguns and titans less annoying then when i was playing for everyone

Why? If you beat the raid then do it again with a more challenging loadout or do a challenge to the raid. Like only this weapon or have to have his weapon.

16 RepliesI mean I have 2 characters fully ornamented, every raid weapon, beaten wrath 105 times, and 41 times on hard mode. Nothing left to do considering all my characters are 400. Do I delete one and start over to artificially add more content?
