Sword buff PVP

Swords need a buff to become relevant in PVP. Suggestions? 1. Increase consecutive swings from 3 to 4. I know shotguns will always be a swords bane. I'm fine with that. I just want to give the sword user at least some juking ability. Getting close is hard with radars. 2. Increase lunge distance. They don't swing far enough. In close quarters they are easy to avoid. That makes no sense to me. Increasing lunging distance allows sword users to ambush their targets more efficiently. 3. Increase target acquisition. Too many times have I swung right past a dude that was running/jumping by. They suffer from the same problem shoulder charge has. Make swords hit more consistent. 4. Blocking speed increase and reduce blocking consumption. Kinda sucks that if a guy sneaks up on you and you go to block he can get a shot in easily. It takes too long to block. And if you take a grenade or melee you lose lots of ammo. 5. Increased sprint speed with ammo. The last one is they are too easy to outrun. They should have some sort of closing in strength without having to swing around aimlessly. 6. Consecutive mid-air swings. If I kill someone or miss them (cause swords suck) mid-air it be nice if I didnt float there for a bit then fall. Let me keep swinging to escape or pursue. Let me use my jump if I haven't done so yet. Swords need buffs. They are a cool concept but just too weak. Even in CQC scenarios. Please buff them.

  • Fix the glitch where you swipe someone who is shooting you with a shotgun and they kill you, yet they die to a suicide instead of giving you a kill for hitting them.
