Paradox's Story Announcement

Hello, Paradox here. I want to start off with admitting that I may have gotten over my head with my latest project. I am almost addicted to writing these stories, and I thought it would be interesting-- and help my addiction-- to write multiple (four) stories at once. There are multiple reasons why I did this: One, all of the stories were meant to tie in together in one universe like Marvel's universe. Two, I hoped that when every story was over, I could possibly burn myself out as a way to stop from writing these fanfictions, or to move on entirely.     I see now, that I was way too ambitious by posting four unrelated chapters per week, for both my personal abilities, and in the idea that people would be interested in reading them everyday. I'm sorry. There will most likely be reworks for my story schedule in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for that.     Now that I got that off my chest, it's time to move on to the main reason I am making this post. Lives of ARC v2 is not being received nearly as well as I expected. As to why, I'm not so sure, but I will definitely address my thoughts.     ●Problem 1: When Lives of ARC ended, a lot of people requested a continuation of the series. At first, the story was a side project-- a mini series-- nothing too grand, so I didn't plan a second part to it. However, nearly a year later (unfortunately), I finally developed a plot for the continuation: Lives of ARC v2. Maybe it was the massive time gap that caused a lot of people to lose interest, I don't know.     ●Problem 2: To those that read Lives of ARC, the second volume may seem distant, or unrelated. I ended the first volume with the nearly broken team brought back together, and with Edward and Gale getting married; now, I picked back up in a distant land in Africa. Where did that come from? Well, in Strength of the Pack S2, ARC made an appearance while Wolf Pack was aiding the African city, Tau'la; and that is where Lives of ARC v2 picks up.     ●Problem 3: It may lie in the story's style. It's been four chapters in, but I haven't even mentioned the main characters: Edward, Gale, and Haxx. If this is the problem, then I want to say this is intentional. I want to develop a major character-- Malikeith and his team, before the actual plot moves forward. And, I will admit there is a lot of inspiration from stuff like Skyrim and Lord of the Rings, so maybe the fantasy style story might be unliked.     Whatever the problem is exactly, people haven't been reading Lives of ARC v2; or if they have, they haven't commented, letting me know. Because of this, I will probably cancel the story. If a large demand for its return arises, then I might restart it. Until then, I won't be posting chapters for Lives of ARC v2.     With this major change, I will probably rework my weekly schedule (as stated above), to compensate for the lack of a story. I will post a new weekly schedule eventually, so, keep an eye out for that.     I also want to say that I write these stories for my personal enjoyment, but I like to please other people as well; that's the main reason why I actually post these to the public, so others can enjoy these stories. Basically what I'm saying is, I will most likely still be writing Lives of ARC v2, but I won't post them to the forums. Keep fighting, Guardians
