When your exotic class item is actually not exotic...
Someone explain why this is happening?
Makes me feel like the work i put in for all of my exotic class items was for nothing.

The exotic is supposed to have an effect when you spawn. It's been broken for a while now, though.

Well people were complaining before, that if they changed faction, they couldn't use the class item. This is obviously a temporary fix.

2 RepliesHave you equipped both of them? Do they look exactly the same? The exotic one has 2 differences: it increases your faction rep instead of vanguard/crucible rep, and you can reroll the stats.

2 RepliesIt is lame that they did that but the exotic one does have the 2 differences that TeppicymonXXVIII mentioned below. I got my Titan exotic the first day of ROI as a legendary, I was pretty pissed. The day I played Crucible to get the 10 wins I was having the worst luck with teams and ended up spending nearly 5 hours playing matches to get it done.

It increase faction rep but doesn't increase vanguard or crucible rank. I just wanted all the exotic items. You can reroll them to get tier 12 and they add a respawn effect.
