We have gotten no where on the actual story of the Traveler and how we will be able to save it. It's as if we were given the gift of "immortality" and now have forgotten our purpose in trying to save this dormant god that floats above our heads. So like, what's next? I feel like we need to expand on the fact that the hovering white snowball is in pieces across the galaxy and we have yet to even search for any of the other pieces... I'm hoping that with this rumored sequel we are to get will further expand upon the rebuilding our god and recreating a golden age for us and blasting these aliens out of our solar system once and for all.

Indeed remind me again why I'm killing all these alien species, the old grey matter has been numbed by repetitive things, I'm on auto pilot now.

Because Dinklebot said so.

In terms of narrative structure, Destiny follows the usual RPG formula of teasing the big bad/good followed by 90% cool side quests and the cap it off with final fight at some insane power levels. Do you realise how short most RPGs are if you follow only the main thread? You could neat Skyrim in an afternoon.

You're right.
Let's blow up the traveler!
My interest in story/lore = zero lol
-
I remembered that, I just dgaf about it. Traveller and the City can burn for all I care.
-
True, it's now just a series of events not properly tied together, there never has been a good story in destiny just vague references and stupid grim cards to read.

Edited by Swiftlock: 12/18/2016 6:33:17 AMKind of hard to do all that when you have evil time-traveling robots, necrotic insectoid gods, vengeful cybernetic scavengers whom the Traveler once served, and space turtles trying to exterminate you whenever you set foot outside of the hubs.

Edited by Jvp WReNCh: 12/18/2016 6:58:51 AMWe already "saved" the traveler. It's been healing since we finished the vanilla campaign, so now we just fight the races that want to destroy us.
