So I had a post on the general forums that I started about a week ago, and I'd been getting a lot of replies. I was having a (somewhat heated, but not really) conversation with a particular commenter and after a few rounds of us going back and forth, we both got reported/banned from the whole post and the last 2 comments we made to each other were both removed. My own post, and I got blocked from replying to anyone else who commented on it. Neither one of us had said anything that I would consider offense, especially compared to some other posts/replies that I've seen that didn't get removed. The other guy was just as confused as I was and thought I had reported him. After clearing it up we kind of just laughed it off, but now that I think about it it's just too ridiculous. We were having a conversation with only the two of us commenting, no one else was in it. I would maybe understand if it was in someone else's post and they didn't want to hear it, but it wasn't. I just think it's a bit unfair to block us from commenting anything else on that whole post—MY post. It's not really justice if both people are punished when neither of them reported the other. Edit: As if almost just to prove that something is off with these forums and their moderators, there is now a post trending that literally only consists of a guy telling everyone to f**k off, yet mine and the other guy's comments (the other guy's contained NO profanity at all btw) were removed.
