"Ow... What happened?" I quickly crouched down by Kourtney when she stirred around. She felt her helmet, which had a massive crack in the visor. "Here," I said as Colt spawned a spare helmet for me. Kourtney took off her mask and put on the new one. "Why is everyone... What did I miss?" Kourtney stood up slowly with my help. "Kourtney," I said softly. "Morin's dead. He covered our escape, but an energy burst..." I began to choke on my words. "killed him..." Kourtney didn't say another word. She raised her hands up to her rebreather. I wrapped my arms around her trying to comfort her. The five of us stepped into the bridge. Crying and sniffling were still playing in our headsets. The knights all looked at us. Before they even had time to react, Dakota had force pushed all thirty of them out of the artificial gravity field. The two, large, flaming spheres above us on the pillars expanded and began to glow brightly. I raised my hand above my eyes so I wouldn't be blinded. After the light had died down, I looked up to see two massive Hive beings. One, a knight, dragged his sword across the ground, causing sparks to fly. Beside him, was a wizard engulfed in flames. The wizard began chanting spells. All of the sudden, we were no longer in the Dreadnought! "Where are we?!" I yelled. "I don't know!" Dakota replied. It wasn't long before our radios cut out. We looked around to see that we were teleported to a fiery world. Literally, lava were running through as rivers into lakes, and ash fluttered around in the air. I looked over to see another wizard, and a thrall. I popped a shot into the wizard. It casted a spell on the thrall, and the thing grew into a horned ogre. Blake, Dakota, and I slowly backed up as it growled and stared at us. The ogre chased me around the place, shooting a purple laser at me. I tried to jump out of the way of the blasts. Dakota pulled out his sniper and shot the ogre from a distance. The ogre stopped chasing me, then looked to Dakota. I hid behind a rock and caught my breath. I looked at my side that had a gash in it from when the ogre hit me. The ogre stomped over to Dakota and pelted the warlock with its eye blasts. Blake jumped up on the ogre and shot the ogre with his sidearm. The ogre raised its arms above its head trying to swat Blake off. The titan grabbed a horn as he tried to hang on. I ran around the rock and shot the ogre in the face with Golden Gun. The horn broke off, and Blake fell onto the ground. He through his arms up when the ogre looked like it was about to step on him. We were teleported back to the Dreadnought and met up with James and Kourtney. We all shot the the Hive and ran around as they shot us with fire blasts. Soon, the wizard teleported James and Kourtney. Then, the knight tried getting inside my head. I gripped my helmet as his chants pounded around. I looked up to see a titan in black armor. "Morin?" I asked. The titan walked up to me. He drew his shotgun from his back, pumped it, and aimed it at me! I shot the titan in the arm to watch green-grey mist ooze out of the wound. That wasn't Awoken. That wasn't Morin! I killed the thing where it stood. "There's something out here!" I said into my headset. No one replied. "Be careful who, or what you shoot!" Still no reply. I turned around to see a tall warlock in a white and gold coat staring at me. "Dakota? Are you okay?" "I told you, Hunter, to stay back, to hold the portal open with us... that the rest of our team would make it out alive..." "What are you talking about?" I asked. "Your careless, ignorant decision got my team killed. My team! MY! FAMILY!!" Dakota charged up a charge in his fusion rifle. "Dakota?!" "I promised myself that if I ever saw you again, Hunter, that if you ever managed to crawl from the pits of h***... I would kill where you stood! Because of you, my team is lost to time!" "Dakota, it's me!" I yelled with worry. "It's me! It's me, Dakota!! IT'S ME!!!" I yelled at him. I heard the discharge of the fusion rifle, and in slow motion, the arc bolt of energy flew towards me. "DAKOTA?!!! WHAT THE H***?!!!" Blake yelled.
