My ship entered slip space with two splicer shuttles on my tail. They shot at my ships' side, almost destroying it whole. My side was cut from the explosion and my ship was going down. This was it.... the ship was going down. I spotted two siva splicer ketches in the distance. My hud marked an important target in the ketch, an archon. The two splicer shuttles had lost interest in me and had flown back to the ship It was just me, my ghost and the ketches I laughed and gritted my teeth, I knew what to do, I shall die in a blaze of glory. My ghost squealed and objected, he knew what I was doing. "Its ok ghost, we were made for battle and we shall die in battle." That reassured him, he always was a sucker for a good battle. I was carrying three missiles on my ship (I always did like explosives, had to bring them everywhere) that should be enough to take out the ketches engines and make a rather large explosion. And so I righted my blockade runner and drained all of my power into my thrusters. In that moment I felt overwhelmed with honour. "This is it" ghost whispered, "this is it" I replied. "Its been a pleasure serving you Exypnos." Ghost said sadly "The pleasure was all mine ghost." I said as a tear fell from my eye. The ship was going faster than I expected it to. "This is going to be one hell of an explosion ghost." I exclaimed. "Always knew we would go out with a bang." The ketch was within throwing distance..... I remembered my father, variks. He had made me who I am, I had to leave him.. In my final moments my eyes saw absolute, blinding light and a figure approaching me, a Guardian, Duros?.... The two ketches exploded with the fuel of Exypnos's ship absolutely vaporising the ship's interior. And so the Archon was dead, and Exypnos was no more.......... ~commander John timmons / Vanguard defense troop Guardian Exypnos has been presumed KIA along with an important splicer target, no remains have been found. ~entry 456571 Charred metal and debris floated endlessely along the vaccum of space.... Among the debris was a shattered helmet, the last possesion of a lost guardian.
