Use your console report system to report their messages. Regardless of whether you were lagging or not, their behavior is likely a violation of PSN/XBL policies on messaging. Secondly, do something to improve your internet connection so it doesn't happen again. Otherwise you will end up getting a temporary restriction from PvP by Bungie.

4 Repliesif you knew you where red barring you should have quit out. i very much doubt you'd be restricted because of one game but take it as a lesson... next time you lagging hard, quit and reset. it will save you the panic and help others gaming experience, after all, what's one end of game package when you can get more as opposed to a restriction where you can't even take part

If I notice myself red barring then I will hang back in a remote area and stay there til I'm green again. I won't engage but I'll defend myself.

I've sent numerous messages telling people they are lagging. I do it respectfully, sometimes people don't know they're lagging.

You should report those threats via the console. Or, you could whine on a forum....

Faced a team of 6 that were all red bar. It was virtual aids. I died at least 3 times to a grenade that was thrown through walls and the other side of the map. They knew they were lagging bad and it was probably intentional. When heavy spawned they popped bubbles on both heavy areas and sat down in their bubbles waiting. They knew their lag + armor of light made them godly. We lost by 6k points.
