Warlock Exotic Idea (Special evade/mobility)
I thought of this a while back when Twilight Garrison first became a thing
I thought, hey, Hunters have shadestep, Titans have twilight, so now we don't have any special mobility!
Well, i came up with this idea for an exotic warlock chestpiece . Double-tapping B/O would cause you to sprout wings themed around the burn of your current subclass that would allow you to perform a dash. If you did it on the ground, you would dash in the direction you help parallel to the ground before skidding to a stop, while if you did it in midair you would dash forwards whatever direction you are aiming, whether it's up, down, forwards, or diagonal!
Like, Voidwalker could have miasmic bat wings, Stormcaller could get bony dragon wings crackling with electricity, and Sunsinger could get fiery Phoenix wings.
What do you guys think?

6 RepliesGiving Stormcallers an evade ability on top of the Amplify + Shotgun combo would be overpowered. Giving Voidwalkers an evade on top of Blink is also asking for trouble.

I to thought of something similar, but I was just simply thinking of using the same teleport they have as the stormcallers sub-option. Make it as an exotic chest or helmet piece, but ur idea is nice to, like the creativity.

Still a terrible idea. Not all classes are created equal and warlocks are still really good without it

That's a pretty cool idea. But I feel it would be to special since hunters and titans can only go in left right, forwards and backwards and not up and down. the dash in any horizontal direction is ok because it would be Balanced. But horizontal and vertical can be a little over powered especially if the warlock is using the ability to float in midair while aiming. But still wonderful idea.
