So, I had an idea for a new raid based off of (please don't kill me just yet) World of Warcraft. In WoW, there are sections of the game where you'd go back in time to play out various important battles in the WoW universe. I think it would be cool to do something similar with Destiny. The story behind the raid would be that you meet back up with the Stranger and gain access to her time traveling abilities. With those abilities, you have to go back and correct the timeline that has started to unravel in various areas. This raid would be larger than anything so far as it would include key moments from the Great Hunt (Ahamkara), the Battle of Twilight Gap (Fallen), The Fated Duel (Dredgen Yor) and many other historic battles in the Destiny Universe. As you complete each battle, you gain a clue (space-time coordinates) as to what is causing the disruption in the timeline. You plug in the coordinates and are transported into a Vex underworld similar to the vault of glass. This world is where the final fight begins. The boss is hiding in a pocket universe outside of time and has the ability to send one guardian out of time and the other 5 must destory a spire, guarded by The Undying Mind-type (rotating shield) Hydras in order to bring the sixth member back. When that guardian returns, they will have an item or buff that is fired at the Boss in order to coax it out of its pocket universe. After depleting the Boss's health, he rewinds time and begins the fight again. Instead of sending one guardian, he sends two, and the other four guardians must fight weakened versions of bosses from the prior historic battles. As a boss dies, you're able to destroy the spire again and you finish the fight like normal. I haven't thought of names/weapons/etc. But I think the concept holds merit. What do you guys think?
