PS3 -> PS4 . . . Can I still transfer my progress?
I am getting a PS4 Pro on the 10th! This will be my first PS4. If I buy Destiny for it can I still transfer my progress from my PS3 including the Titan I created and leveled this month?
The reason I'm concerned is that I read that this might not be the case after Rise of Iron launched. In August Bungie changed how the "legacy" version of the game worked and I just want to be sure I can transfer before I buy the game again.
If I can't transfer my progress I'll probably just wait for Destiny 2 for my PS4.

8 RepliesYou can transfer your characters from PS3 to PS4.....and then play it on PS4 going forwards. What changed in August is that you can no longer go back-and-forth between the two platforms playing the same characters.. Once you make the transfer the two platforms become separate.

Also you should be able to buy a reduced price version of the Destiny Collection being a legacy console player. Yes. As long as it's a PS3 to ps4 you're good. But different consoles cannot transfer content.
