TL;DR at the end. I encourage you to read though. An Upvote would be appreciated. Introduction: As an experienced Destiny player I have in a sense seen the rise and fall of many era's. As seen on my Titan (Year One Moments Emblem) I've poured hours upon hours into this game and as such I hope my opinion and suggestions do not fall on deaf ears. I am here to talk about Low Rate of Fire Auto Rifles (Shadow Price, Grim Citizen III, SUROS ARI-45, and etc.) and their current place in crucible. I have two ideas which could extremely help solidify a roll for these weapons as the consistent and dependable weapons for sustained fire in Destiny. These ideas could be both implemented together or if they cannot ,for sake of balance, just one of either. Idea 1: Since my goal is to make LRoF Auto Rifles consistent an easy damage distribution could be placed. Just allow these damage values to be integrated. Headshot Damage: 27 Body Shot Damage: 23 If you can tell a combo of both a headshot and body shot allow for a flat 50 damage. So with a combination of 4 headshots and 4 body shots you can kill an enemy guardian while also not disrupting the TTK of the weapon archetype at 1.0 seconds. This would make the weapon consistent and more viable. Idea 2: This idea focuses on the perk Focus Fire for LRoF Auto Rifles. (Pun intended.) Now I know most of you are thinking I'm going to ask for a damage buff but you would be completely wrong. All I ask for is a rate of fire buff. The reason I ask for this is because it has already been implemented for the LRoF Auto Rifle Genesis Chain. I beg for critics to test out the rate of fire difference between the Genesis Chain (with Focus Fire),the SUROS Regime (Focus Fire) and/or any other LRoF Auto Rifle with Focus Fire. The Genesis Chain does indeed fire faster with Focus Fire then all the others and I believe that if the damage were scaled to match the Genesis Chain (33 to the head 26 to the body) then the perk would be a viable perk again without being to overpowered as seen on the Genesis Chain. The damage can also be lowered to 32 to the head and 25 to the body if need be. Conclusion: In conclusion I hope my ideas for the Low Rate of Fire archetype of Auto Rifle does not fall on deaf ears and hopefully sparks conversations regarding their place in the crucible. I hope the comment section stays classy, well-mannered, and everyone respects each other's opinions. Thank You. TL;DR Idea 1: Keep LRoF Autos consistent. Damage values changed to the following. Headshot: 27 damage Body shot: 23 damage Allows for a 8 shot kill with mixed shot placement. TTK: 1.0 sec Idea 2: Focus Fire perk on LRoF Autos changed to match rate of fire of Genesis Chain with Focus Fire. Damage Values may be lowered. No damage buff only Rate of Fire increase.

 • I like your idea for focused fire but instead of a Rof increase or plain damage increase, maybe it can give auto rifles the same 1.5% presision modifier all other primary types have instead of the 1.25% one they have now
