Auto Rifles at the solid type of Monte Carlo Archetype only does 20 per headshot at close range. now take the Blind Perdition, and see that it does 25 to the head per one bullet out of 3 in the busrt, making 75 per complete headshot burst. Autos in general are utter garbage and need a serious buff.

Edited by o Apollyon o: 10/28/2016 10:37:14 PMAuto rifles shouldnt do crit damage to begin with since an auto rifle is not a precision weapon

Extremophile, Continental, Unbent tree, Monte carlo, Suros, Doctrine, Hardlight, and Rightous 7 would all like a word with you.

My answering chord with max stability and high Caliber rounds disagrees

GIve them their year 1 damage (for high and mid impact), but damage drop off.

The 88/8 tier of ARs is the current meta in the AR world. That's 88 rate of fire, 8 impact. My Righteous VII is a beast. The sad part about ARs is the high-impact tier sucks. However, Bungie doesn't want another "Suros" phase, so I expect them to suck for a while. The only real fun with high-impacts ARs is using focused fire. That has some merit to it.

I recommend Extremophile with hidden hand. I've ditched my Hawksaw for it on mid-range maps like Exodus Blue. That thing cannot miss a headshot.

Edited by PoopOnAStick99: 10/27/2016 1:51:05 PMI dont know man last word is a pretty good auto rifle if ya ask me. Might just be me though

Edited by Magos Caseus: 10/27/2016 10:22:18 PMBut Monte Carlo is an AR, meaning that you can put those shots in rapidly. You can't just take damage per shot into it, as an AR will intrinsically do less. However, of you think about how much damage it can do in a certain timeframe, your results will be much different.

My Monte Carlo disagrees

I use Monte Carlo in Crucible all the time, and I'm holding a 1.4 and Rising.
-
You can still use doctrine... auto rifles reward spraying while pulse rifles and hand canons reward precision shots, I assume that is their logic
-
Increase the body shot damage on all auto rifle would be a start

So what do you suggest instead of a blind raging post.
