We just got DDoS'd in Trials. We flew in, had the loading screen for Burning Shrine, and then - the game froze, black screen with "Burning Shrine" in the bottom left corner. My two fireteam members were then like "Whaaat? Contacting Destiny servers?" Then they were kicked from the PSN party and then kicked from the fireteam. The internet outage was so bad they had to restart their PS4s to come back.
The people we went up against were:
PSN = [REDACTED]
PSN = [REDACTED]
PSN = [REDACTED]
I was the fireteam leader and wasn't kicked. Once the match started, they immediately came over to me, taunted me, killed me, started t-bagging.
I have linked [REDACTED] destinytracker profile to show how he (as of this moment) has a 100% win/loss ratio today with nearly 50 games of trials. Each game has roughly zero kills or deaths. The same goes for the other members of his fireteam.
I'll be uploading a video shortly.
I've taken the liberty of removing the gaming account names of the person(s) who you stated were cheating.
Bungie takes reports and game bans VERY seriously, and so they carefully research those reports against their server logs for actual shenanigans (cheating/exploits). If those reports and the investigation bear fruit, the cheaters will be dealt with. But things like making a vid, creating a topic, and/or naming them here on the forums serves no purpose and has no benefit. If you have used the in-game report tool, then you've done your part. And thank you for doing so.
For those who who want to take the extra step, or were kicked from the game (and are unable to access the reporting tool), Bungie has created a Cheating Submission Form that allows players to find the PGCR (Post Game Carnage Report) from their personal history, fill out an official report, describe the cheating, and even link a vid (if they have one). Please feel free and encouraged to use this tool, but pay close attention to the warnings on the form.
* If you are not confident that a player was cheating, do not use this form.
* Abuse of this contact form may result in account restrictions.
* Fraudulent reports and submissions unrelated to cheating may result in disciplinary actions against your account.

Nina justice don't block the players name instead work on banning then
-
These guys are still roaming Trials. These guys are still booting players from fireteams. These guys are continuing to cheese their way into flawless rewards that guys like me who play every weekend struggle to earn with skill. These guys have astronomical combat ratings that do not reflect their in game performance. These guys are practically screaming into Bungie's ears that they are cheating. And yet, These guys are still roaming Trials.
-
Thr problem is that matchmaking is in a p2p server instead of bungie making its own servers which are way harder to crack!.... By the way if bungie doesn't notice with these kinds of articles popping up everyday: http://www.polygon.com/2016/10/26/13394068/destiny-trials-of-osiris-ruined-cheaters-ddos-spam Then i dont know what will!
-
They are in (Stop Trying) clan Steeloh- Idbemadkid Ximostswag
-
Same here same group been checking there stats they went flawless 3 times this weekend had 10 kills total. I have video and screen shots of the players as well

Edited by Njim1: 10/26/2016 1:30:01 PMThanks everyone for the support. We were trending for 24 hours or so and then the #destiny and #competitive tags were removed from the post by @Spawn. Bungie obviously doesn't want anyone to know about this. I have linked the video of the DoS. Enjoy the gameplay!

irishfreak is the ninja that edited the post. He should have stated he will forward the gamertags to bungie's security team for investigation. He did not, which leads me to believe he only cares about protecting cheaters, not preventing cheating. Which is it irishfreak? Theres solid proof that the gamertags you removed were using an ip sniffer and booter/flooder (DoS attack) to kick their opponents. Whoose side are you on?
I'm pming the ninja my reply. Lets see if he answers.
Cause it's just easier to ninja edit and forget it happened than actually do something about it isn't it. The fact that cases like this have been happening since ToO first launched is pathetic. Wish Bungie would grow a pair of balls and treat cheater like Blizzard did. Perm ban their ass. But that won't happen because Activision has shown them the dark side and the profits they can make if they just overlook the cheaters.
-
-blam!-ing ninjas, I tell ya. Let the cheaters be shamed!
-
Those ninjas edits are a -blam!-ing joke...
-
Edited by Dekirk: 10/26/2016 2:19:19 AMI hope they ban them for life. Bungie really needs to step up to the plate and do something about this. They should have a monthly wall of shame regarding these folks, or at least update us that folks got banned this month for cheating.
-
Ninjas being stupid again. Do what blizzard did and put fools on blast. Wondrous how it stopped there lol

Edited by AkAmpZ: 10/26/2016 8:36:49 AMName shaming allows other players to see who it is and know when they are playing said person. Also adds confirmation or doesn't regarding them cheating or not. If it Confirms the next group reports. Not confirmed then maybe they are not cheating (at the time). Overall name shaming needs to be allowed for this level of cheating. They are breaking a federal law which entails it to be a federal offense. Because of that we need to be updated on the situation from the community mangers to know this is being taken seriously. We as a community are taking it serious because myself and others are actually also reporting to FBI.gov/tips

I thought ninjas actually had backbones? These ones clearly don't they're a joke. 😂
-
What I find to be more pathetic than anything is that every single one of these posts say the same exact thing: Bungie where are you? I get the whole "slander" thing, and them not wanting their customers being prematurely accused. HOWEVER (and that is a big ass however), that exact mindset should be concurrent with swiftly handing out a harsh sanction to those ruining the game. This game mode has been around for a year and a half now. Why in the hell is everyone STILL complaining that those caught are only handed a short ban of a couple days? I'd be more than interested to see a mod reply to this thread in a way other than the cliche ninja ban that everyone knew would happen. I hope noone holds their breath for that one.
-
maybe the ninja was the one who was ddosing u
-
These ninjas are shit.
-
-blam!- the ninja. You get into more trouble for being a victim than the cheater
-
Well ninja if you guys actually seemed active in banning cheaters people wouldn't be posting this. Trials is a toxic pool of cheating and literally nothing is being done, at least from my perspective. Please prove me wrong with evidence stats or number of bans because a lot of people have written trials off and it's a shame
-
Good to see the ninjas still protecting cheaters. Nothing ever changes here.
-
The ninja is so funny. He posted bungie take reports and bans very seriously. LOL
-
The ninja edit is bs. Bungie doesn't do anything about it that's why no one takes them or this forum (and its rules) seriously.
-
That's why trials is a joke, should not be taken seriously, nobody other than those morons should be playing so they can ddos the pi$$ out of each other. Forgot trials it's been a joke for a long time now!
-
Nice joke there ninja. We all know the reports go straight into the trash
