How can Bungie not see cheaters in trials?
Edit: I took a look at the guy I've been talking about and he was finally banned. I am so happy now that Bungie was actually serious when they said they would be actively investigating and banning those that cheated. I can honestly say thank you Bungie for listening and doing something about it
Me and a fireteam member were booted at game 7 last night within 20 seconds of each other after winning round 2. I decided to go back and see the history of the team we played, 2 players only had 1 flawless each but the 3rd had 2230 ELO was ranked #330 in the world but had literally only a 1.0 KD.
So I went into his recent game history, and sure enough, 90% of the games he played 2 members of the opposing team were booted. I sent messages to the 5 teams that they played before us, and got a message back from all 5. 4 of he 5 teams said they reported them, and I even got screenshots from 2 of the 5 showing they were playing solo by the end of the match.
I go in today and check this guys recent games again, and sure enough, as I text this the same crap is happening. Almost every game, 2 guys are booted, sometimes even all 3. Every game they win is either 5-2 or they don't even reach 5 matches because they end up booting all 3
How can Bungie not take this more seriously, I counted well over 25 teams in the last 24 hours that this user has had booted while playing trials, that's 25+ teams losing out on a potential flawless. This just honestly discourages me sooooo much from trying to defend and continue to play this game, even after I've gotten 80 flawless runs since trials came out.
Edit: to anyone curious that wants to look, the game was on my hunter at 107 am
Edit 2: after reading bungies weekly update, they made it a point of emphasis to show they're still investigating cheating and will be banning players they see fit. So I checked out the guy I accused of cheating, and sure enough, this asshole just played a control match 15 minutes ago. It's been 5 days, so maybe it takes longer for them to make a decision, but I think Bungie is seriously just blowing smoke

1 ReplyThis is why I care nothing about Trials anymore. Everyone hypes it up as being the best of the best and it isnt. It's a shit show of lag and kicks. I don't exactly think it's an issue with lagswitches and such, as they only work if you are hosting the match, I could be wrong though. With the tweet saying there's nothing to fix in Trials and how elitists vow to "protect" the lighthouse along with the amount of people paying to be carried or donating and following on streams for carries, it's come to be the asshole of Destiny for me. I raided with a guy earlier that played mediocre, but he was at 400 light. He threatened to not run another raid woth us unless someone 1v1 elimination woth him. He boasted about his scarab and his weekly flawless runs, talked a big game and such. I called his bluff and told him that I'm not impressed by his emblems, guns, stories or any of the other crap from trials. He told me I was jealous and that he specifically wanted to 1v1 me and nobody else. He lost 5 matches in a row and said he was gonna look up my stats because I was too sweaty and lied about how often I play trials. I guess he looked me up and got mad that me with probably a .3 kd in trials kicked his ass because he just left the party. Personally, I don't care how good or bad you are at the game, trials means nothing.

1 ReplyThere is a guy like this in the top 5 trials Elo on guardian.gg on Xbox. He has a .8 kd and sits in the top 5. Every single match the team is either booted or at least two are. How are people like this still playing?! I don't even have an Xbox and see this guy cheating. It's incredible!

4 RepliesWhat pisses me off the most is this guy could potentially be making a ton of money by doing carries and cheating his way to victory because bungie fails to crack down on these -blam!-ing busters. Smh, bungie fix trials already, it's not as perfect as your pvp lead thinks it is.

2 RepliesI've been flawless over 100 times. I can honestly say I've only came across cheating once. The first banner fall weekend came across a team that spawned in sat at the flag for 5 rounds and captured the flag. They just ran sat down and we couldn't shoot them. Grenades weapons supers whatever didn't touch them. That's the only time it was ever obviously cheating.

I play trials for one thing which is drops, I've been flawless a couple times and gotten plenty of stuff from playing it but I could care less if I go flawless or not. Best way to experience trials imho is going in with zero expectations and doing the best you can for most people.

Just recently got into Trials and enjoy it. It can be very fun and exciting. It can also be a very humbling experience. I'm not very good at it yet but I play anyways. I've only made it to 8-0 a handful of times. Only twice have those games been competitive with my team losing 5-4. I can deal with that. All the others ending with me or one of my team members getting the boot. It's beyond frustrating. Makes me want to quit playing destiny altogether. (But I won't it's my favorite game). The reporting system is WORTHLESS!!! I've lost all faith in bungies ban hammer. It doesn't exist UNLESS you name and shame a cheater. Then you get a week bam from forums. HEY BUNGIE GROW A PAIR AND START BANNING CHEATERS!

Honestly im a scrub and im not meant for the loothouse i have only made it past 7 wins once and i play every weekend i see the occasional lag but not much of what i consider cheating im starting to think this stuff happens in the higher games Also for anybody who inspects me my flawless was a carry

They can only swing the Ban Hammer twice a year it seems. Don't know why... It's also been a while since the last massive purge. Time to bring it back, I want to see the Forums burn down with the "Why can't I PVP" and "Banned for no reason" Posts

Bungie simply doesn't care. The cheaters are logging in to play (cheat) Destiny, and they get a small royalty from psn/xbl for players playing the game. The few pennies they get are more important to bungie than fair play.
