Did anyone else see the Bible reference and the intense symbolism of it? If you didn't realize it, when Negan is forcing Rick to chop off Carl's arm, it alludes heavily to Abraham and Isaac from the Old Testament of The Bible. I knew that when Rick went to raise the axe Negan would stop him, because in the Bible God told Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac. Before Abraham did so God stopped him because of his faith. This represents how powerful Negan is, and how he is almost a Godlike figure to those he meets (and beats). Really intense, Rick and his group are facing a God.
