Local Networking Issues (cannot join target player)

I just returned home from being away from home for a month and flashed up RoI to play with my son (both PS4). Unfortunately we can't play together anymore or more specifically we can play as a two man fireteam but cant both join the same raid team no matter what member of the fireteam we try to join. Error message states cannot join target player. I am a day one player who has never had any issues with networking. I am using an Asus RT-AC68U router with NAT Acceleration disabled (as it always has been). It appears this is a common occurrence across the player base since RoI released. Are Bungie actively looking into this? Many thanks for your help

    • Hi. Meanwhile I think that only a popular streamer or a contact to a Boss of Sony and Activision would help us. regards B.

      • Hey there, Currently, Bungie is aware and actively investigating the issue. You can find current updates and information in the Marionberry, Canary, and Local Network Fireteam Issues pinned thread. Make sure your home network is properly configured by following instructions in the 'Allowing Destiny Connections' KB article. After attempting the above, you can provide Bungie additional information by following instructions in the pinned thread, Apologies for the inconvenience. • bungie is not working on this. solution would be that you open and forward the ports in their "network troubleshoot guide" or as it is also called "our solution, your problem- explanation"..

        • Every 3 weeks or so they swing by to recommend another random workaround. It doesn't appear they are *actually* working on the problem. They just continue to blame it on the users' connection.
