• I'm sorry to hear that you're having connection issues. Sometimes these are intermittent and just happen once, or for a short period of time, due to network conditions between you, Bungie, and other players. Other times it can be related to your home network, other devices connected to your network, or the connection with your ISP. When you see a variety of different errors in a short period of time like this it typically indicates that there's an issue with the connection along the route that traffic is taking from your console to Bungie, or the P2P connections Destiny utilizes to connect you to other players. Take a look at our (comprehensive!) Network Troubleshooting Guide to learn how to get the optimal network setup for playing Destiny. Even when other games seem to be working fine we've found that Destiny may require a few tweaks to your network to get the best performance.

    • For the last couple of days I have had the same problem. I will be connected but as soon as I long in and choose my character I can't go anywhere because of party stabilization. I hard reset my xbox, hard reset my router and yet it take me 2-3 times to completely shut down the game just to be able to go to the tower for bounties. I am on xbox and idk if this has been a problem lately but I just don't know what is going on. Before I'd never ever have a problem logging in like this and I have no clue what's going on. Does anyone else have this problem as of late?

      • Something may be up on your side of the sessions...either locally or somewhere within the routes you've been assigned by your ISP. Both myself here in SC and a friend up in the Great Lakes area can play for hours on end with no issues. Double-check your config against the network troubleshooting guide and if all that checks out and you still have issues, may be time to bring in your ISP's Tier3 support to monitor things while you play. With any luck they will capture an exception they can escalate to the proper party to improve the quality of service.

        • I'm guessing your not the only one... I get connection issues with the app too. This started yesterday when the ddos attacks hit the Internet. Not sure if they are still ongoing.
