I want to get gud with the snip snipes but I heard it's a bad idea to practice sniping in crucible. I'm pretty good in pve but that's because the enemies are so predictable, they stand still, and they have giant heads/crit zones. I also noticed I do better with the omolon type semicircle reticles; the 1k stare's reticle is difficult if not impossible to see on bright backgrounds. I just got the unflinching perk too which I really like but I heard it was nerfed in pvp? What other perks are good and what other snipers have that semi-circle reticle, the eirene sr4? So what are your ideas? How did you become an efficient sniper? I'm thinking of maybe challenging myself in pve and only going for enemies that are moving or in close quarters, things like that. in crucible, I could equip a strong primary and only go for snipes from a safe angle and give up if I don't get it instead of running around the entire match with the stare like I normally do when I "practice." (Went 2-20 on frontier last time, one body shot and a miracle point blank hard scoped headshot to the back of the head lol).
